Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya program Kampung Literasi yang mendorong peserta program Kampung Literasi untuk terbiasa dan gemar membaca. Penelitian ini dilihat dari partisipasi peserta yang hadir untuk mengikuti program Kampung Literasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal partisipasi masyarakat terhadap perilaku gemar baca; 2) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor eksternal partisipasi masyarakat terhadap perilaku gemar baca; 3) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal partisipasi secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku gemar baca. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta program Kampung Literasi yang terdiri dari usia 8-60 tahun. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik random sampling pada taraf kesalahan 5% dan didapatkan sebanyak 81 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RW 04 Kelurahan Sukamulya Kecamatan Cinambo Kabupaten Bandung. Temuan dari penelitian adalah 1) faktor internal partisipasi memiliki besaran pengaruh tehadap perilaku gemar baca sebesar 61,1% yang dikategorikan kuat, indikator paling mendominasi yaitu pemahaman sebesar 86,83%. 2) faktor eksternal partisipasi memiliki besaran pengaruh terhadap perilaku gemar baca sebesar 59% yang dikategorikan cukup, indikator yang mendominasi adalah aktor penggerak sebesar 88,16%. 3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari faktor internal dan eksternal partisipasi peserta program kampung literasi terhadap perilaku gemar baca dengan pengaruh sebesar 65% yang dikategorikan kuat. This study was seen from the participation of participants who attended the Literacy Village program. This research aims; 1) to describe and analyze the influence of internal factors on community participation in reading behavior; 2) to describe and analyze the influence of external factors on community participation in reading behavior; 3) to describe and analyze the influence of internal factors and external factors of joint participation in reading behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with the subject of the study is the Literacy Village program participants consisting of ages 8-60 years. The sample in this study was taken by random sampling technique at a 5% error level and obtained 81 respondents. This research was conducted in RW 04 Sukamulya Village, Cinambo District, Bandung Regency. Findings from the study are 1) internal participation factors have a magnitude of influence on reading fondness behavior of 61.1% which is categorized as strong, the most dominating indicator is understanding of 86.83%. 2) external factors of participation have a magnitude of influence on reading fondness behavior of 59% which is categorized as sufficient, the dominating indicator is the actor mover of 88.16%. 3) there is a positive and significant influence from the internal and external factors of the participation of village literacy program participants on reading-like behavior with an influence of 65% which is categorized as strong.
