Abstract
Upacara Adat Seren Taun di Kecamatan Cigugur Kabupaten Kuningan merupakan gelar budaya tradisional masyarakat agraris Sunda khususnya masyarakat Sunda Wiwitan yang dilaksanakan setiap satu tahun sekali, selama satu minggu yaitu puncak acara pada 22 Rayagung, sesuai dengan kalender Saka Sunda di Paseban. Seren Taun merupakan syukuran penyerahan hasil panen yang baru dilewati serta memohon berkah dan perlindungan Tuhan untuk tahun yang akan datang. Dari ritual upacara yang beragam, intinya tetap sama yaitu penyerahan padi hasil panen dari masyarakat kepada ketua adat. Padi akan dimasukkan ke dalam leuit (lumbung) utama dan lumbung-lumbung pendamping. Pemimpin adat memberikan indung pare (induk padi/ bibit padi) yang sudah diberkati dan dianggap bertuah kepada para pemimpin desa untuk ditanam pada musim tanam berikutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas daya tarik wisata budaya dalam Upacara Adat Seren Taun, dilihat dari respon dan apresiasi masyarakat sekitar, wisatawan, pemerintah, dan pihak lain yang terkait. Sehingga diharapkan dapat terlihat produk apa saja yang menjadi daya tarik wisata, dan produk apa saja yang memiliki kekurangan/ kelemahan yang nantinya dapat dilakukan pengembangan ke arah yang lebih baik. Serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penyelenggaraan Upacara Seren Taun tersebut baik positif maupun negatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif yaitu menguraikan data menjadi informasi yang dapat menjawab perumusan masalah dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen yang dapat memperkuat hasil penelitian, serta dengan menggunakan snowball sampling. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka didapat hasil bahwa sebagian wisatawan yang datang berkunjung dalam Upacara Adat Seren Taun dipengaruhi oleh keunikan dan komponen-komponen wisata didalamnya yang semuanya saling berkaitan. Seperti contoh seni tari tradisional, kamonesan, objek wisata di kawasan Cigugur, dan lain-lain. Kata Kunci : Kecamatan Cigugur, Seren Taun, Wisata Budaya, Daya Tarik Wisata, Paseban Ceremony of Seren Taun in Cigugur Kuningan is a celebration of traditional culture agrarian society especially community of Sunda Wiwitan held once a year, during the week of the event at 22 Rayagung peak, according to the calendar of Saka Sunda in Paseban. Seren Taun is an expression of gratitude or thanksgiving of the new crop delivery pass and invoke God's blessing and protection for years to come. Ritual ceremonies from the various regions, have the point remains are same, namely the delivery of the rice harvest to the traditional leaders. Rice will be put into the "leuit" (barns) and the main granaries. Indigenous leaders give "pare" (rice seeds) that has been blessed and is considered auspicious by village leaders to be planted in the next planting season. This research made for identify about the quality of cultural tourism attraction in Ceremony of Seren Taun Cigugur, seen from the response and appreciation of the surrounding community, tourists, government, and other relevant parties. So expect to see any products that became a tourist attraction, and also which products are need to be developed for more better development. As well as the impact of the implementation of the ceremony of Seren Taun both positive or negative. Research methode that used in this study is descriptive with qualitative approaching and using questionnaire as the main intrument for this study. Analyses were performed that describes the data into the information that can answer the formulation of the problem and questionnaire as an instrument to strengthen the research, as well as by using the sample is snowball sampling. Based on the result of the study, then we got the result that majority of the tourists came to visit the Ceremony of Seren Taun influenced by the uniqueness and added value of the culture tourist as well as components of tourist therein interrelated.
