Abstract

Kinerja pegawai sangat menentukan keberhasilan akan suatu organisasi atau instansi. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, diperlukan upaya yang terintegrasi melalui faktor-faktor yang mendasari hubungan antara seseorang dengan organisasinya. Faktor kompetensi dan disiplin kerja adalah bagian dari hal yang menunjang suatu kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari metode penyajian data dari hasil tanggapan responden (kuesioner) dengan sampel sebanyak 61 pegawai. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis product moment dan analisis korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa kompetensi, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil perhitungan korelasi menunjukan variabel kompetensi dengan kinerja memiliki korelasi sebesar 0,901, sedangkan disiplin kerja dengan kinerja memiliki korelasi sebesar 0,815. Artinya variabel kompetensi dan disiplin kerja memiliki hubungan dengan signifikan positif dengan klasifikasi sangat tinggi dengan kinerja pegawai. Nilai Adjust R Square sebesar 0,825 atau 82,5% memiliki arti bahwa kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi kompetensi dan disiplin kerja sebesar 82,5%.----------Employee performance can be the factor that will determine the success of an organization or agency. To increase employee performance, through integrated efforts are needed psychological factors that underlie the relationship between an employee and his organization. Competence and work discipline factors are part to increase the performance. This study aims to determine the influence of Competence and Work Discipline Against Employee Performance of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat. This research uses descriptive and verification method. The research data was obtained from the method of presentation of data from the respondents (questionnaire) with a sample of 61 employees. The analysis technique used in this research is the analysis of product moment and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that Competence, Work Discipline, and the performance of employees at the high category. The results of the correlation calculations showed Competence variable has a correlation with the performance of 0.901, while Work Discipline has a correlation with the performance of 0.815. This means that variable Competence and Work Discipline has a significant positive correlation with the very high classification with the performance of employees. Value Adjusted R Square of 0.825 or 82,5 % meaning that the employee's performance is affected Competence and Work Discipline amounted to 82,5 %.
