Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkann literasi digital dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam materi struktur bumi dan mitigasi bencana dengan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan STEAM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas VII di salah satu MTs di Kabupaten Sumedang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 soal uraian untuk mengukur literasi digital dan 12 soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian, ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan literasi digital siswa dari pretest (dengan nilai rata-rata 80) ke posttest (dengan nilai rata-rata 86). Kemudian terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dari pretest (dengan rata-rata 55,5) ke posttest (dengan nilai rata-rata 75,4). Ditemukan pula jumlah siswa pada setiap kategori N-gain sebagai berikut: N-gain dalam kategori rendah sebanyak 6%, N-gain dalam kategori sedang sebanyak 91% dan N-gain dalam kategori tinggi sebanyak 3%. Untuk rata-rata N-gain yaitu 0,4 dengan kategori sedang.----------This research has been conducted to improve digital literacy and students' creative thinking abilities in the material of earth structure and disaster mitigation with learning through STEAM approach. The research method used was pre-experiment with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of research consist of 32 student at 7th grade of the MTs in Kabupaten Sumedang. The instruments of research were 5 description questions to measure digital literacy and 12 description questions to measure students' creative thinking abilities. As a result of the research, it was found that there was an increase in digital literacy of students from pretest (with an average value of 80) to posttest (with an average value of 86). Then there was an increase in the creative thinking ability of students from a pretest (with an average of 55.5) to posttest (with an average value of 75.4) Also found the number of students in each N-gain category as follows: N-gain in the low category by 6%, N-gain in the medium category by 91% and N-gain in the high category by 3%. For an average N-gain of 0.4 in the medium category.
