Abstract

Beberapa penyebab terjadinya kematian pada wanita diantaranya terjadi selama proses kehamilan, proses persalinan maupun pasca melahirkan, baik karena dari segi perlakuan, pelayanan maupun fasilitas yang tidak memadai. Menurut penelitian WHO bahwa banyak wanita di seluruh dunia mengalami perlakuan tidak sopan, kasar atau lalai saat melahirkan. Maka untuk mencapai standar perawatan saat melahirkan, pelayanan sistem kesehatan harus diatur dan dikelola dengan cara yang menjamin penghormatan terhadap kesehatan seksual dan reproduksi perempuan dan hak asasi manusia. Sehingga perlunya pemenuhan untuk mengatasi masalah ini, di mana setiap wanita hamil dan bayi menerima perawatan yang berkualitas selama proses kehamilan, persalinan dan periode setelah melahirkan baik dari sistem pelayanan maupun fasilitas itu sendiri. Di Kabupaten Bandung Barat belum memiliki fasilitas khusus pelayanan dibidang kesehatan anak, kehamilan, kebidanan dan kandungan (Obsetri dan Ginecology). Maka perancangan Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak di Kabupaten Bandung Barat diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi pemecahan masalah yang ada. Healing Environment adalah penerapan prinsip-prinsip pada tema yang digunakan pada desain Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak. Healing Environment merupakan konsep penyembuhan atau terapi yang dibentuk dari lingkungan perawatan dengan memadukan aspek fisik dan psikologi yang memanfaatkan suasana ruang dalam maupun ruang luar dengan menggunakan unsur-unsur yaitu elemen sirkulasi, elemen warna, bentuk ruang, elemen alam, elemen pencahayaan, tampilan bangunan dan program dan pelayanan rumah sakit. Penerapan prinsip-prinsip healing environment mempunyai tujuan untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhan pasien baik tubuh, jiwa dan pikiran secara seimbang. Proses penyembuhan tersebut dapat melalui sebuah lingkungan binaan yang diciptakan melalui elemen perancangan arsitekural. Hasil penerapan prinsip-prinsip healing environment berupa gambar-gambar arsitektural, yang mempunyai tujuan untuk menyampaikan tema penerapan prinsip-prinsip tema healing environment pada perancangan rumah sakit ibu dan anak. ..... Some of death causes in women include period during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. The main causes are inadequate treatment, services and facilities. According to WHO research explained that many women around the world experience rude or negligent treatment during childbirth. So to achieve the standard of care taking during childbirth, health system services must be regulated and managed in a way that guarantees respect for women's sexual and reproductive health and human rights. Even more, solutions are needed to overcome this problem, where every pregnant woman and baby receive hight quality care taking during the process of pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum period, both from the service system and the facility itself. In West Bandung District, there is no special service facility in the field of child health, pregnancy, obstetrics and gynecology. So the design of the Mother and Child Hospital in West Bandung Regency is expected to be a solution to the existing problem solving. One of relevant concept to applied is healing environment approach. Healing Environment is the application of the principles to the themes used in the design of the Mother and Child Hospital. Healing Environment is a concept of healing or therapy that is formed from a care environment by combining physical and psychological aspects that utilize the atmosphere of the inner and outer spaces by using elements of circulation, color, shape of space, natural environment, lighting, appearance of buildings and hospital programs and services. The application of the healing environment principles aim to accelerate the healing process of patients from body, soul and mind in a balanced manner. The healing process built by environment that is created through architectural design elements The results of the healing environment principles application in the form of architectural drawings, which aims to convey the theme of the application of healing environment theme principles in the design of maternal and child hospitals.
