Abstract
Penelitian di eMTe highland Resort ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran dampak kawasan wisata terhadap kehidupan masyarakat dan adanya wisatawan yang berkunjung ke eMTe Highland Resort, dengan permasalahan pendapatan masyarakat yang belum mencapai tingkat sejahtera sehingga untuk melayani wisatawan yang datang perlu ditingkatkan lagi. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana potensi wisata yang ada di eMTe Highland Resort, bagaimana dampak kehidupan masyarakat dalam menangani wisatawan ke eMTe Highland Resort. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang ada disekitar eMTe Highland Resort yang berjumlah 151 responden, terdiri dari masyarakat yang berada disekitar eMTe Highland Resort yang berjumlah 100 orang dan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke eMTe Highland Resort sebanyak 51 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara, studi literatur, dan penyebaran angket. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis kuesioner. Berdasarkan analisis kuesioner dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, diketahui bahwa dampak kehidupan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan eMTe Higland Resort dan dengan adanya wisatawan yang berkunjung sudah sangat baik, namun dalam segi pendapatan masyarakat masih sangat kurang sejahtera. Terlihat dari banyaknya masyarakat yang mencari nafkah disekitar eMTe Highland Resort mengeluhkan pendapatan mereka belum cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Kebutuhan wisatawan terhadap fasilitas yang ada di eMTe Highland Resort sudah baik, namun perlu kelengkapan kualitas atraksi wisata dan kualitas kelengkapan cinderamata yang kurang tidak bevariatif. Untuk itu upaya pengelola adalah bekerjasama dengan aparat desa setempat dan lembaga adat untuk mengadakan pelatihan kepada masyarakat agar semua potensi yang ada didaerah bisa lebih dikembangkan dan dipasarkan agar dapat melayani wisatawan dengan baik. Pelatihan tersebut dilakukan agar masyarakat dapat hidup mandiri serta wisatawan mempunyai antusias yang tinggi mengunjungi objek wisata eMTe Highland Resort. The research at eMTe Highland Resort have purpose for getting the effect of tour area against society for handling visitor who want to visit the eMTe Highland Resort with the problem about the income of its society that still have not prosperous. So, in this case, for giving the services for the tourist still not good enough. On the other hand, this research are also talking about the prospect of eMTe Highland Resort, and how is the effect of the society tour area against of eMTe Highland Resort for handling visitor. Around 151 respondents that used in this research are the community at the area of eMTe Highland Resort who divided into two categories. The first, around 100 people are the origin society at around the resort. The second, around 51 people are the tourist. Description method is used in this research. And the data are collected by using directly observation, interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires. Descriptive and qualitative analysis, and also questionnaires analysis are used for data processing technique. Based on the questionnaires analysis and qualitative-descriptive analysis, it is known that the effect of the society toward the visitor is very well, but in the case of the income of society is still not prosperous. In this case, many origin society who still find money around the resort feel they income is not good enough. The effect of the visitor for quality in the resort is quite good, but still needed improvement in tourism quality of attraction and quality of souvenir. So, in this case, the management of resort have to corporate with the origin society and give the practice to the society in order to improve all potential ability around the resort area for giving or storing facility to the visitors. This practice also can make the society life by themselves and also the visitor more interest to visit eMTe Highland Resort. Keyword: The effect of tour area, Visiting from visitor.
