Abstract

..... Misconceptions is the different concepts that students have with the correct concept and agreed by the experts. Misconception occur due to several factors, including students, teachers, content of book or teaching materials, and learning models and strategies used. Learning models and strategies greatly affect to the ability of student’s understanding of the concept. Low understanding conceptual can easly make the students being misconception. Therefore, this research was conducted to investigate how the student’s conception before and after treated by three stay two stray cooperative learning model based PDEODE*E and how the reduction of student’s misconception after treated by this model. This research used mixed method with concurrent embedded design and used N-Gain to analyze how the reduction of student’s misconception. Results shown that the value of N-Gain is 0,324 with “medium effect” interpretation. It’s mean that three stay two stray cooperative learning model based PDEODE*E is able to reduce student’s misconception on static fluid with medium category.
