Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan rendahnya hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran bolavoli, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman dan pengalaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran tersebut. Dalam menanggapi permasalahan tersebut peneliti berupaya untuk menerapkan model role playing karena dengan model tersebut siswa belajar dengan cara memerankan perannya masing-masing. Dalam pembelajaran bolavoli dibutuhkan tingkat keseriusan yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model role playing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar permainan bolavoli. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan partisipan nya adalah siswa kelas V SD Pertiwi, yang berjumlah 30 siswa, 12 siswa laki-laki, dan 12 siswa perempuan. Data penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan format GPAI (Game Performance Analisis Instrumen). Hasil penelitian ini mampu memberikan manfaat positif terhadap proses belajar mengajar siswa, antara lain dengan adanya peningkatan dari observasi awal ke siklus 1 dan 2. Pada observasi awal nilai persentasi yang diperoleh 43% dan meningkat menjadi 85% pada siklus 2 tindakan 2. Dengan penelitian ini, penerapan model role playing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bermain bolavoli pada siswa kelas V SD Pertiwi. Kata Kunci: Permainan Bolavoli, Model role playing, Pemahaman Bermain. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in volleyball learning, which is caused by a lack of understanding and experience of students towards learning. In responding to these problems researchers sought to apply the role playing model because with this model students learn by playing their respective roles. In learning volleyball requires a high level of seriousness. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of role playing models that can improve the results of learning volleyball games. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (PTK), with the participants were fifth grade students at the Pertiwi Elementary School, totaling 30 students, 12 male students and 12 female students. The research data was taken using the GPAI format (Game Performance Analysis Instrument). The results of this study were able to provide positive benefits to the learning process of students, among others, with an increase from initial observations to cycles 1 and 2. In the initial observation the percentage values obtained were 43% and increased to 85% in cycle 2 of action 2. With this study , the application of the role playing model can increase the understanding of playing volleyball in fifth grade students of SD Pertiwi.
