Abstract

ABSTRAK Assembly di SD Mutiara Bunda merupakan sebuah program ko-kurikuler yang terintegrasi dengan beberapa mata pelajaran melalui kegiatan seni pertunjukan. Program ini sebagai salah satu wujud budaya sekolah dari nilai-nilai karakter yang ingin dikembangkan yaitu grateful, acceptance, caring and sharing, continuous improvement, persistence. Tujuan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap seperti apa kegiatan bermain peran yang melibatkan siswa kelas rendah. Dalam penelitian ini akan dijabarkan bagaimana sebuah kegiatan seni dapat berkontribusi dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter serta membantu dalam tugas perkembangan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan analisis data IPA (Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis). Penelitian diawali dengan observasi kemudian dilengkapi dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi terhadap kondisi lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan, assembly yang berlangsung dari kelas satu sampai kelas enam mempunyai desain dan tahap perencanaan yang membantu siswa untuk aktualisasi dan pengembangan diri secara berkelanjutan. Tematik integrasi menjadikan siswa mendapat pengalaman belajar secara utuh. Metode pengajaran, keteladanan, pembiasaan, pemotivasian, penegak aturan dan penghargaan diberikan pada siswa sebagai penanaman dan pengingat akan nilai-nilai kebaikan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, terlihat adanya nilai toleransi, kerja sama, disiplin, religius, tanggung jawab, dan peduli lingkungan yang tercermin pada pola perilaku siswa. Kegiatan ini dapat berjalan dengan baik, berkat dukungan kepala sekolah yang terus memonitoring dan memberikan arahan. Selain itu, perspektif guru mengenai manajemen dan karakter kelas menjadi hal penting untuk mengurangi hambatan dalam kegiatan. ABSTRACT The assembly at SD Mutiara Bunda is a co-curricular program integrated with several subjects through performing arts activities. This program as a form of school culture from the character values to be developed is grateful, acceptance, caring and sharing, continuous improvement, and persistence. The purpose of this study is intended to reveal what role playing activities that involve low grade students. In this research, it will be explained how an art activity can contribute to the inculcation of character values and help in students' developmental tasks. This research uses a case study method with IPA (Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis) data analysis. The study begins with observation and is then supplemented by interviews and documentation of field conditions. The results of this study reveal, the assembly which runs from grade one to grade six has a design and planning stage that helps students to actualize and develop themselves in a sustainable manner. Thematic integration makes students get the full learning experience. Teaching methods, role models, habituation, motivation, enforcement and rewards are given to students as an incentive and reminder of the values of goodness. Based on this, visible values of tolerance, cooperation, discipline, religious, responsibility, and environmental care are reflected in the patterns of student behavior. This activity can run well, thanks to the support of the principal who continues to monitor and provide direction. In addition, the teacher's perspective on management and class character is important to reduce obstacles in activities.
