Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa sekolah dasar disebabkan oleh (1) siswa tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang proses dan penguasaan keterampilan dasar yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan tulisan yang baik, (2) kurangnya keterampilan dalam menyusun gagasan dan tema, (3) minimnya kosakata, (4) kurangnya kepercayaan diri. Masalah dalam keterampilan menulis berpengaruh pada kemampuan siswa yang lainnya. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak keterampilan disekolah sampai ke universitas mengandalkan keterampilan dalam menulis Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode berpikir cognitive research trust (CoRT) 1 breadth dalam pembelajaran menulis narasi ekspositoris siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design sehingga teknik pengambilan sampel tidak dilakukan secara random. Penelitian ini didesain dalam dua kelompok yakni kelompok eksperimen mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan metode berpikir CoRT 1 breadth dan kelompok kontrol mendapat perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan direct instruction. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Isola Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes menulis narasi ekspositoris. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi sehingga instrumen penelitian di validasi oleh dosen ahli. Data dianalisis melalui uji statistik menggunakan SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pada setiap aspek penilaian meliputi organisasi, isi, informasi, mekanik dan kretaivitas. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji non-parametrik mann-whitney dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05 menunjukkan hasil yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi sehingga H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa metode berpikir CoRT 1 breadth berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi ekspositoris siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.;--The low level of writing skills of primary school students is caused by (1) the students have no knowledge of the process and mastery of the basic skills needed to produce good writing, (2) lack of skill in composing ideas and themes; (3) lack of vocabulary; confidence. Problems in writing skills affect the ability of other students. This is because many skills in school up to university rely on writing skill The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cognitive research trust (CoRT) 1 breadth method of learning in writing narrative of grade V elementary school students. This research uses quasi experimental research method with non-equivalent control group design design so that sampling technique is not done randomly. This research was designed in two groups: experimental group got treatment using CoRT 1 breadth thinking method and control group got instructional treatment using direct instruction. The sample of this research is the students of grade V of SDN Isola Kota Bandung. Data collection techniques use narrative expository writing tests. The validity of the data using the validity of the content so that the research instrument in the validation by expert lecturers. Data were analyzed through statistical test using SPSS 16 for windows. The results showed an increase in every aspect of assessment including organization, content, information, mechanics and kretaivitas. The result of statistical test using non-parametric test of mann-whitney with significance level of 0.05 shows smaller result from significance level so that H0 is rejected. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that the method of thinking CoRT 1 breadth effect on the skills of writing narrative expository students of grade V elementary school.
