Abstract

Kewirausahaan memiliki hakikat yang merujuk pada sifat, watak, dan ciri-ciri yang melekat pada seseorang yang mempunyai kemauan keras untuk mewujudkan gagasan inovatif ke dalam dunia usaha dan dapat mengembangkannya dengan tangguh. Kinerja usaha mengacu kepada tingkat pencapaian atau prestasi dari sebuah usaha dalam periode waktu tertentu. Kinerja usaha sangat menentukan perkembangan dari sebuah usaha, salah satu usaha yang mengalami masalah kinerja yaitu Sentra Industri Kaos Suci Bandung. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan oleh Sentra Industri Kaos Suci Bandung untuk meningkatkan kinerja usaha yaitu dengan cara meningkatkan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) gambaran inovasi, (2) gambaran kinerja usaha, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota Asosiasi Sentra Industri Kaos Suci (SKOCI) Bandung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan jumlah sampel 60 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran inovasi dalam kategori sedang dan gambaran kinerja usaha dalam kategori sedang. Pengaruh inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha sebesar 52,4%, yang berarti pengaruhnya termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan inovasi pada Sentra Industri Kaos Suci Bandung lebih ditingkatkan lagi dalam aspek inovasi proses dengan meningkatkan penciptaan desain unik dan mengembangkan produk melalui teknologi terbaru. Sehingga diharapkan inovasi perlu diperhatikan lebih lanjut oleh para pengusaha dalam menunjang peningkatan kinerja usahanya. Business performance refers to the level of achievement or achievement of a business within a certain period. Business performance greatly determines the development of a business, one of the businesses that experienced performance problems is Suci T-Shirt Central Industry Bandung. The efforts carried out by Suci T-Shirt Central Industry Bandung to improve the performance of the company by increasing innovation. This study aims to determine (1) the description of the innovation, (2) an overview of business performance, and (3) to find out the effect of innovation towards business performance. The object analysis in the study is member of the Association of Suci T-Shirt Central Industry (SKOCI) Bandung. Meanwhile, the type of the study is using descriptive and verification. Then, the method of the study is an explanatory survey and involved 60 respondents. The data analysis technique used is simple regression with Statistical Computer for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for Windows software tools. The findings in this study indicate that the description of innovation is in the average category and the description of business performance is in the average category as well. The effect of innovation towards business performance is 52.4%, which means that the effect is in the average category. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that innovation in Suci T-Shirt Central Industry Bandung be further enhanced in the aspect of process innovation by increasing the creation of unique designs and developing products through the latest technology. So that innovation is expected to be considered further by entrepreneurs in supporting the improvement of business performance.
