Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Efektivitas Teknik Silang Cerita Berbasis Pengalaman Pribadi pada Pembelajaran Menulis Cerpen” ini dilakukan terhadap siswa di SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. Penelitian ini diawali dengan perumusan masalah yaitu: 1) bagaimana kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa SMA Kartika XIX-2 di kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan teknik silang cerita di kelas?; 2) bagaimana kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa SMA Kartika XIX-2 di kelas kontrol sebelum dan setelah diadakan diskusi kelompok di kelas?; 3) adakah perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa SMA Kartika XIX-2 dalam menulis cerpen pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan teknik silang cerita dan diskusi kelompok di kelas?; 3) apakah penerapan teknik silang cerita berbasis pengalaman pribadi efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas?. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik silang cerita, sehingga teknik silang cerita efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan tes awal-tes akhir untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah SMA Kartika XIX-2 dengan sampel kelas X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X-3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dari masing-masing kelas sebanyak 28 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil tes awal kelas eksperimen yaitu 55 dan nilai rata-rata hasil tes akhir yaitu 72. Sementara dari kelas kontrol, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil tes awal yaitu 48 dan nilai rata-rata hasil tes awal yaitu 62. Dari nilai rata-rata tersebut dapat terlihat bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan lebih besar yaitu 17 poin dibanding kelas kontrol yang mengalami kenaikan sebesar 14 poin. Sementara itu, dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung (2,519) sedangkan t tabel (2,409) sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa t hitung (2,519) > t tabel (2,409). Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan perlakuan berupa teknik silang cerita. The study, entitled " Efektivitas Teknik Silang Cerita Berbasis Pengalaman Pribadi pada Pembelajaran Menulis Cerpen" is performed on students in Kartika XIX-2 Bandung high school. This study begins with the formulation of the problem, namely: 1) how high school students the ability to write short stories Kartika XIX-2 in the experimental class before and after cross-story technique applied in the classroom?; 2) how high school students the ability to write short stories Kartika XIX-2 in the control classes before and after group discussions held in class?; 3) is there a significant difference between the ability of Kartika XIX-2 high school students in writing short stories in the experimental class and control class before and after the applied techniques of cross story and discussion groups in class?; 3) whether the application of cross-story technique effectively applied based on personal experience in learning to write short stories in class? The hypothesis of this study that there are significant differences between students' ability to write short stories before and after using the technique of cross-story, so the technique is effectively used in a story of cross learning to write short stories. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design to test the initial-final test for the experimental class and the control class. The study population was Kartika XIX-2 high school with a sample experiment class is X-2 and X - 3 as a control class . Samples from each class as many as 28 people. Based on the results of the study, the average values obtained initial test results of 55 experimental class and the average value of the final test result is 72. While control of the class, the average values obtained results of the initial test is 48 and the average value of the initial test result is 62. From the average value can be seen that the experimental class had a greater increase is 17 points compared to the control class increased by 14 points. Meanwhile, the hypothesis test results obtained from the t (2.519) while the t table (2.409) so that it can be stated that t (2.519) > t table (2.409). This means that there are significant differences between the results of students' ability to write short stories before and after the experimental class to get treatment in the form of cross- story technique.
