Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture pada siswa kelas III MI Roudhotul Ilmi. Kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah yang diteliti adalah membaca huruf hijaiyah yang tersusun sesuai kosakata dan membedakan huruf hijaiyah yang cara membacanya hampir mirip. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa kelas III MI Roudhotul Ilmi. Obyek penelitian adalah kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah menggunakan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan pada penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil apabila kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah anak dengan kategori baik sudah mencapai persentase minimal sebesar 86%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah dapat ditingkatkan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture. Keberhasilan tersebut dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah, mempersiapkan model gambar gambar yang tersusun, memberi contoh penggunaan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture untuk membaca huruf hijaiyah pada bab pemandangan alam, membaca bersama-sama, memberi anak kesempatan untuk membaca sendiri melalui gambar, memberi kesempatan lebih besar pada anak yang peningkatan kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah masih sulit serta guru memotivasi dan mendampingi anak. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari perubahan kriteria baik disetiap siklusnya, pada saat pra tindakan menunjukkan hasil 5%, kemudian mulai meningkat pada Siklus I sebesar 75% dan pada Siklus II sebesar 90%. Abstract This study aims to improve the ability to read the hijaiyah letters using the Picture and Picture learning model in Grade 3 students of MI Roudhotul Ilmi. The ability to read the hijaiyah letters studied is to read the hijaiyah letters which are arranged according to the vocabulary and distinguish the hijaiyah letters which are similar to how to read it. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 16 grade 3 students at MI Roudhotul Ilmi. The object of the research is the ability to read the letters hijaiyah using the Picture and Picture learning model. Techniques for collecting data through observation, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The indicator of success in this study is said to be successful if the ability to read a child's hijaiyah letter in the good category has reached a minimum percentage of 86%. The results of the study show that the ability to read the hijaiyah letters can be enhanced by the Picture and Picture learning model. The success is carried out by steps, preparing a structured image model, giving examples of the use of Picture and Picture learning models to read hijaiyah letters in the natural landscape chapter, reading together, giving children the opportunity to read by themselves through pictures, giving greater opportunities in children whose ability to read the hijaiyah letters is still difficult and the teacher motivates and accompanies the child. The increase can be seen from changes in criteria both in each cycle, at the time of pre-action showed a 5% result, then began to increase in the first cycle by 75% and in the second cycle by 90%.
