Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH PENERAPAN TEKNIK DROPPED OBJECT TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN ORIENTASI DAN MOBILITAS PESERTA DIDIK TUNANETRA KELAS II DI SLBN-A KOTA BANDUNG Peserta didik tunanetra memiliki hambatan penglihatan sehingga akan berdampak pada aspek-aspek perkembangan. Salah satu dampak dari ketunanetraan yaitu deficit dalam aspek keterampilan orientasi dan mobilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik dropped object terhadap peningkatan keterampilan orientasi dan mobilitas peserta didik tunanetra, dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi subjek penelitian berinisial SNI kelas II SDLB. Teknik dropped object ini dibagi menjadi dua yakni teknik jongkok tegak lurus dan teknik jongkok dengan membungkuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian untuk teknik jongkok tegak lurus menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada baseline-1 (A-1) ke baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 35,19%, baseline-1 (A-1) ke intervensi (B) sebesar 27,31%, intervensi (B) ke baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 7,88%. Pada aspek teknik jongkok dengan membungkuk adanya peningkatan pada baseline-1 (A-1) ke baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 49,07%, intervensi (B) ke baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 39,82%, intervensi (B) ke baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 9,25%. Jika dilihat dari hasil perhitungan teknik jongkok dengan membungkuk mendapat skor lebih besar dari pada teknik jongkok tegak lurus, sehingga teknik jongkok dengan membungkuk lebih cocok diterapkan kepada peserta didik SNI. Melihat hasil penelitian dan analisis data secara keseluruhan berarti terdapat pengaruh penerapan teknik dropped object terhadap peningkatan keterampilan orientasi dan mobilitas peserta didik tunanetra kelas II di SLBN-A Kota Bandung. Kata Kunci : Tunanetra, teknik dropped object, keterampilan orientasi dan mobilitas ABSTRACT INFLUENCE OF DROPPED OBJECT TECHNIQUE APPLICATION THROUGH THE IMPROVEMENT OF ORIENTATION AND MOBILITY SKILLS ON BLIND PARTICIPANTS CLASS II AT SLBN-A BANDUNG CITY Blind participant has vision barrier so that impacted into the development aspects. One impact from the blindness that is decline in orientation and mobilization skills. The aim of research is to know dropped object technique influence through the improvement of orientation and mobilization skills on blind participants, in this research that becomes the research subject has initial SNI class II SDLB. Dropped object technique is divided into two parts such as squatting position with upright and squatting position with bending. Used method in this research uses Single Subject Research (SSR) approach with A-B-A design. The study result for squatting position with upright shows the increase in baseline -1 (A-1) to the baseline-2 (A-2) amounted to 35.19%, baseline -1 (A-1) to intervene (B) of 27, 31%, intervention (B) to baseline-2 (A-2) was 7.88%. In the technical aspects of squatting by bending there is an increase in baseline -1 (A-1) to baseline-2 (A-2) by 49.07%, intervention (B) to baseline-2 (A-2) by 39.82% , intervention (B) to baseline-2 (A-2) of 9.25%. If seen from the results of the calculation technique squat by bending got a score of more substantial than the technique squat upright straight , so the technique squat by bending more suitable applied to the participant students SNI. Seeing the results of research and analysis of data as a whole means that there is the effect of the application of techniques of dropped objects to increase skill orientation and mobility participant learners visually impaired class II-A SLBN Bandung.
