Abstract

Permasalan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan masih belum optimalnya sistem pengendalian persediaan di perusahaanYan’s Fruit & Vegetables yang dibuktikan dengan menurunnya kualitas produk yang berupa buah strawberry. Permasalahan ini harus segera diatasi karena apabila tidak segera diatasi akan menghambat produksi perusahaan. Karakteristik buah strawberry yang mudah rusak, busuk dan memiliki umur yang pendek setelah dipanen, buah strawberry hanya bertahan selama 3 hari saja setelah dipanen membuat pengelolaan sistem persediaan sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran manajemen persediaan, gambaran sistem pengendalian persediaan Just In Time dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas produk, gambaran kualitas produk dengan menggunakan sistem pengendalian Just In Time dan tanpa menggunakan sistem pengendalian persediaan Just In time padaCV. Yan’s Fruit & Vegetables. Penelitian inimerupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan studi kasus yaitu membandingkan antara teori dan praktek yang ada pada perusahaan dengan menggunakan data persediaan bulan januari-desember 2012. Sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Untuk analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan data-data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku dengan menggunakan metode Just in Time serta analisis pembelian bahan baku menggunakan uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem pengendalian persediaan Just In Time yang di terapkan di perusahaan Yan’s Fruit & Vegetables masih belum optimal, dan bila sistem pengendalian persediaan Just In Time sudah optimal maka akan terjadi peningkatan kualitas produk diperusahaan, penerapan sistem pengendalian Just In Time lebih efektif diterapkan pada perusahaan Yan’s Fruit & Vegetables. Berangkat dari hal ini, penulis menyarankan pada perusahaan untuk segera menerapkan sistem pengendalian persediaan Just in Time agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas produk pada buah strawberry. These problem have to take care because of doesn’t to take care soon will get obstacle company product. Charasteristick strawberry fruit which is easy broke spoiled and has short life after harvesting, it can stand three day only after harvesting makes manage inventory system is very important. These obserb do with uses descriptive obserb with case’s studies is it’s compare between theory and practice which is on company with it’sinventory data on January-december 2012.Mean while for data collect tehnik uses studies document and interview for analysis data is done by descriptive analysis on quanti which is uses standard material inventory control which is uses metod Just in Time with standard material buying analysis and analysis data uses different experiment. Obserb result shows that inventory controlling system Just In Time which is arranged in Yan’s Fruit & Vegetables company hans’t been optimum yet, and if inventory controlling system Just In Time has been optimum so will get increase product quality in company, controlling arrange system Just In Time is more effective arrange in Yan’s Fruit & Vegetables company. Goes from these cases, writer sugest to company for arranging inventory system Just In Time immediately in order to be able to increase strawberry quality product.
