Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena dan konteks dalam impelementasi penerapan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer dan perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kantor Pusdik Intelkam Polri Bandung dan bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan tingkat penerapan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer dan perilaku kepemimpinan di kantor Pusdik Intelkam Polri Bandung, (2) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan kepala Pusdik terhadap kinerja pegawai, (4) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pengaruh sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer dan perilaku kepemimpinan kepala Pusdik secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling atau seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini semuanya berjumlah 83 orang. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen angket model tertutup yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dalam bentuk rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat penerapan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer dalam kategori tinggi, perilaku kepemimpinan dalam kategori tinggi dan kinerja pegawai juga dalam kategori yang tinggi, (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori sedang antara sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori kuat antara perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori kuat antara sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) berbasis komputer dan perilaku kepemimpinan secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka disarankan kepada: (1) Kepala Pusdik Intelkam Polri Bandung, hendaknya memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja pegawai Pusdik Intelkam Polri Bandung, (2) Lembaga sebaiknya selalu memperbaharui software yang digunakan untuk seluruh bidang agar memberikan kelancaran dan kemudahan dalam bekerja, hal ini dikarenakan perkembangan sistem informasi manajemen berbasis komputer dan teknologi informasi yang semakin cepat perkembangannya, (3) Kepala Pusdik Intelkam Polri lebih membangun kembali komunikasi yang lebih terbuka dan intensif dengan pegawai Pusdik agar tidak menimbulkan prasangka yang buruk dari pegawai, (4) Peneliti lain, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan referensi dalam penelitian sejenis.;--This research is a descriptive kind of research that aims to describe phenomena and contexts in the implementation of computer-based management information systems (SIM) and leadership behavior on employee’s performance. The approach that used is case study approach. The research was conducted at the Bandung Police Intelligence Education Center office and aims to: (1) to describe the level of application of computer-based management information systems (SIM) and leadership behaviors in the Bandung Police Intelligence Center, (2) to find out any influence of management information systems (SIM) computer based on employee’s performance, (3) to get to know the influence of education-center head leadership behavior on employee’s performance, (4) to get to know the influence of computer-based management information system (SIM) and leadership behavior of education-center head simultaneously on employee’s performance. The sample used in this study is total sampling, that means the entire population is used to be sample. The sample in this study contains by 83 people. The research data was obtained by using a ‘closed model questionnaire’ instrument that developed by researcher in the form of a rating scale. The results showed that: (1) the level of application of computer-based management information system (SIM) can be said in the high category, leadership behavior in the high category and employee’s performance is also in the high category, (2) there is a positive and significant relationship with the medium category between systems computer-based management information (SIM) on employee’s performance, (3) there is a positive and significant relationship with a strong category between leadership behavior on employee’s performance, (4) there is a positive and significant relationship with a strong category between management information systems (SIM) computer and leadership behavior simultaneously on employee performance. Based on the results of this study, the researcher suggests : (1) Head of the Bandung Police Intelligence Education Center, should use the results of this research as a consideration in order to improve the performance of the Bandung Police Intelligence Center staff, (2) Institutions should always update the software used for all fields to provide promptness and convenience at work, due to the development of computer-based management information systems and information technology are increasing rapidly as time goes by, (3) the head of the Indonesian Police Intelligence Center should work harder to increase communication to be more intense and wild- open with education-center employees in order to create a clear thought and reflection among employees, (4) For ther researchers, may the results of this study can be used as reference material in similar studies.
