Abstract

Pemilihan ketua osis merupakan aspek penting yang dilakukan di sekolah sebagai salah satu sarana pembelajaran demokrasi siswa. Namun demikian, pada umumnya sekolah masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam pemilihan tersebut padahal saat ini ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi sedang berkembang dengan pesat. Konsekuensinya, siswa tidak memiliki antusias lebih untuk menyalurkan hak pilihnya tersebut sehingga civic participation siswa tersebut berkurang. Metode e-voting merupakan sebuah inovasi yang bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai media alternatif dalam pemilihan ketua osis di sekolah dan sangat mampu menyesuaikan terhadap perkembangan saat ini, terlebih generasi sekarang sangat adaptif terhadap teknologi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Tujuan dari penggunaan metode studi kasus ialah untuk mendalami kajian yang sedag diteliti. Adapun hasil temuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Perencanaan metode e-voting awalnya digagas oleh salah satu guru PPKn di sekolah serta siswa yang membuatnya, 2) Pelaksaan pemilihan ketua osis dengan menggunakan metode e-voting berjalan dengan baik dan terstruktur, 3) Materi yang paling tepat digunakan dalam metode e-voting ialah demokrasi dan HAM, 4) E-voting memberikan kontribusi yang sangat luas baik dari aspek biaya, SDM dan maupun waktu, 5) Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan cara musyawarah panitia penyelanggara serta menyerap aspirasi dari siswa lain serta guru untuk kepentingan perbaikan ke depannya.;--The selection of student council heads is an important aspect that is carried out in schools as one of the means of student democracy learning. However, in general schools still use conventional methods in this election even though currently knowledge and technology are being developed rapidly. Consequently, students do not have greater enthusiasm to channel their voting rights so that student participation decreases. The e-voting method is an innovation that can be used as an alternative media in the selection of student councilors in schools and is very able to adapt to current developments, before the current generation is very adaptive to digital technology. This research uses qualitative with a case study method. The purpose of using a case study method is to explore an evaluation study. As a result of this study as follows: 1) The e-voting planning method was originally initiated by one of the civic education teachers in the school as well as the students involved, 2) The implementation of the student council election by using the e-voting method went well and structured, 3) Material which is most appropriate to use in the e-voting method of democracy and human rights, 4) E-voting contributes very broadly both in terms of costs, human resources and time, 5) Evaluation is carried out by the committee meeting and the comfort of aspirations from other students to repair.
