Abstract

Cekungan sedimen terdapat di sebelah utara daerah penelitian yang diinterpretasikan dari peta hasil transformasi pseudogravity.;-- Underwater exploration has begun to be done in Indonesia to look for energy reserves. The energy reserves are mostly located in basin areas and also in areas with diverse tectonic conditions. In Misool waters there are complex tectonic conditions located close to the Salawati basin, which is now an underwater exploration site as a source of oil and gas. This study uses a magnetic method which is usually used to find out initial information to obtain an overview of the structure and stratigraphy. Field data on the magnetic method is corrected and filtered. Filters used in data processing are reduction to the poles and pseudogravity. The anomaly resulting from the reduction to the poles and the pseudogravity anomaly are then interpreted qualitatively. The results of the qualitative interpretation are the faults in the northeast of the study area. After the qualitative interpretation is also carried out quantitative interpretation using data from the anomaly reduction to the pole and the pseudogravity transformation anomaly that has been done six times the incision on the same path for the reduction to the polar anomaly and the pseudogravity anomaly with the forward modeling method. The results of quantitative interpretation are for the first layer in the form of schist rocks with a susceptibility value of 1.885 SI - 2.0560 SI and a rock density value of 2.65 g / cm3 - 2.77 g / cm3, the second layer is interpreted as a limestone with a susceptibility value of 1.5775 SI - 1.8550 SI and rock density value 2.50 g / cm3 - 2.62 g / cm3, the third layer has a susceptibility value of 1.1050 SI - 1.3729 SI and rock density value of 2.31 g / cm3 - 2.41 g / cm3 is sandstone, in some paths there is a shale with rock susceptibility value of 1,099 SI - 1,125 SI and rock density value of 2.24 g / cm3 - 2.27 g / cm3. Schist rocks are pre-Triassic and are in the ligu metamorphics formation. Limestone aged middle jura to the top jura and are in the fageo group. The sandstone is tertiary in the quarter paleogene and is in the formation of a sandstone. Shale is tertary in the quarter neogene and is thought to be an alluvial deposit. Sedimentary basins located in the north of the study area are interpreted from the map of the transformation of pseudogravity.
