Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh turunnya nilai perusahaan PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran financial leverage yang diukur dengan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Equity (ROE), dan nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan Earning Per Share (EPS) serta mengetahui pengaruh financial leverage dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan pada PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder DER, ROE, dan EPS PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. yang bersumber dari data laporan keuangan perusahaan periode Kuartal III 2007 sampai Kuartal IV 2011. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda, korelasi dan koefisien determinasi. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama periode Kuartal III 2007 sampai Kuartal IV 2011 perkembangan financial leverage menunjukkan tren yang berfluktuasi dan cenderung meningkat, sedangkan profitabilitas dan nilai perusahaan menunjukkan tren yang berfluktuasi dan cenderung menurun. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial financial leverage tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan memiliki hubungan korelasi yang sangat rendah, sementara profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan memiliki hubungan korelasi yang sangat kuat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa 79% nilai perusahaan dipengaruhi oleh financial leverage dan profitabilitas, sedangkan sisanya 21% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Financial Leverage, Profitabilitas, Nilai Perusahaan The research was motivated by the falling value of PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. This study aims to reveal the financial leverage as measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), profitability as measured by return on equity (ROE), and the firm value as measured by the Earning Per Share (EPS) and to know the effect of financial leverage and profitability of the firm value at PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. The research methods used is descriptive and verification methods. The data used in this study is a secondary data from DER, ROE, and EPS PT. Indosiar Karya Media Tbk. The data sourced from the company's financial reporting period of the third quarter 2007 to fourth quarter 2011. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, correlation and coefficient of determination. This test hypothesis using the t test. The results showed that during the third quarter 2007 to fourth quarter 2011 financial leverage developments showed fluctuating trend and tend to increase, while the profitability and firm value showed a fluctuating trend of a declining trend. From the results of hypothesis testing shows that the partial financial leverage does not significantly influence the value of the company and have a very low correlation, while a significant effect on the profitability of the company's value and has a very strong correlation. The test results showed that 79% of the firm value was affected by the financial leverage and profitability, while the remaining 21% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
