Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Pemuda Olahraga Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata kota Cirebon, kekayaan hasil budaya yang dimiliki kota Cirebon belum dimanfaatkan dengan maksimal, saat ini 40% dari situs kebudayaan yang ada pada kota Cirebon berada dalam kondisi terbengkalai. Upaya pemerintah yang dilakukan saat ini adalah dengan adanya Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang kota Cirebon periode tahun 2005-2025, khususnya pada bagian ke-3, memiliki rencana pembangunan dan pengembangan sarana dan prasarana terutama pada bidang Wisata Sejarah. Perencanaan dan perancangan Museum Seni dan Budaya Kota Cirebon diperlukan sebagai salah satu pemenuhan kebutuhan sarana prasarana pembangunan kota Cirebon, serta sebagai salah satu solusiagar aset budaya kota Cirebon tidak musnah atau hilang seiring perkembangan zaman. Perencanaan dan perancangan Museum Seni dan Budaya kota Cirebon ini memiliki konsep Arsitektur Cahaya, dengan tujuan sebagai salah satu elemen perancangan serta sebagai daya tarik museum yang semakin lama semakin sedikit peminatnya. Konsep Arsitektur Cahaya pada museum diterapkan dengan teknis yang berbeda-beda pada setiap zona pameran yang ada pada museum, dengan penggunaan pencahayaan alami maupun buatan, sehingga pengunjung tidak merasa bosan saat mengunjungi museum. Perencanaan dan perancangan museum ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan kepada pada pembaca mengenai hasil seni dan kebudayaan kota Cirebon dan penerapan konsep arsitektur cahaya pada museum.;--Based on data from the Department of Youth, Sport, Culture, and Tourism of Cirebon city, the proceeds of Cirebon culture has not been utilized to the maximum, currently, 40% of the existing cultural sites in the city of Cirebon are in a dormant condition. With the Long-Term Development Plan of Cirebon city for the period of 2005-2025, particularly on part three, the government has a plan for construction and development of infrastructure, especially in the field of History. Planning and designing of Cirebon Art and Culture Museum are needed as one fulfillment facilities and infrastructure development of the city of Cirebon, as well as one solution so that Cirebon city's cultural assets are not destroyed or lost over the times. Planning and designing of Cirebon Art and Culture Museum use concepts Architecture of Light, with the goal as one of the design elements as well as the attraction of the museum. Architectural of Light concept at the museum applied with different techniques on any existing exhibition zone at the museum, with the use of natural and artificial lighting, this concept can make users doesn’t feel flat. The planning and designing of Cirebon Art and Culture Museum are expected to provide information and knowledge for readers, especially about Art and Culture of Cirebon, and the application of architecture of light in the museum design.
