Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi
kerja terhadap kinerja guru ekonomi sekolah menengah atas kabupaten
Majalengka. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi objek sasaran penelitian yaitu
guru ekonomi di sekolah menengah atas yang berada di wilayah Majalengka kota.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Survey Eksplanatory. Dalam
penelitian ini yang diteliti sebanyak 30 guru dari 6 sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan
data menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert dan hasil analisis data serta uji
persamaan regresi berganda dengan program SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian
menunjukan bahwa kinerja guru ekonomi sekolah menengah atas kabupaten
Majalengka tergolong baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa
secara simultan dan secara parsial variabel kompetensi dan motivasi kerja
berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru ekonomi. Pada tingkat kompetensi yang
berada pada kategori tinggi diharapkan guru mampu menjaga tingkat kompetensi
tersebut bahkan lebih baik ditingkatkan pada penugasan yang wajib dimiliki
seorang guru, sedangkan untuk hasil kinerja guru secara keseluruhan berada pada
kategori tinggi, guru perlu melakukan perencanaan yang baik dalam pembelajaran
untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal.;--- The purpose of this study is to know the influence of competence and work
motivation on the performance of high school teachers of Majalengka district. In
this study, the object of research is the economic teacher in high school located in
Majalengka city. The method used in this research is Survey Eksplanatory. In this
study, 30 teachers from 6 schools studied. Data collection techniques using
questionnaires with Likert scale and the results of data analysis and multiple
regression equation test with SPSS 20 program. The results showed that the
performance of high school economics teacher of Majalengka district is good.
Based on the result of research, it is found that simultaneously and partially
competence and work motivation have positive effect on teacher economic
performance. At the level of competence that is in the high category is expected
teachers are able to maintain the level of competence is even better improved on
the assignment that must be owned by a teacher, while for the results of teacher
performance as a whole is in the high category, teachers need to do a good
planning in learning to achieve performance which is optimal.
