Abstract

Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin meningkat di Kota Cimahi, maka kebutuhan air bersih meningkat. Diperlukan pengkajian tentang kebutuhan air bersih dan pendistribusian air yang dilakukan oleh PDAM Tirta Raharja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi dan layanan kebutuhan air bersih pelanggan PDAM Tirta Raharja di Kota Cimahi dengan memerhatikan empat aspek yang meliputi sistem penyediaan air bersih yang digunakan, pendapat pelanggan terhadap kalitas fisik air, jumlah kecukupan air, dan kesinambungan aliran air yang diterima oleh sambungan rumah pelanggan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam poses pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode suvey dengan jenis deskiptif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel wilayah sebaran pelanggan dan pelanggan air besih PDAM Tirta Raharja di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis deskiptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PDAM Tirta Raharja telah memberikan cakupan wilayah layanan di Kota Cimahi sebesar 22.85% serta kondisi dan layanan berdasarkan sistem penyediaan air bersih telah dilaksanakan melalui unit pengambilan air baku pada intake pengambilan sumber air, unit produksi di instalasi pengolahan air, unit distribusi air ke sambungan rumah, dan unit pelayanan bagi pelanggan air bersih. Sementara itu kualitas fisik air yang diterima oleh pelanggan telah memenuhi standar persyaratan kualitas air yang berlaku. Sedangkan jumlah rata-rata pemakaian air seluruh pelanggan di Kota Cimahi selama satu bulan sebesar 21,694 m3/bulan dan jumlah kecukupan air penduduk Kota Cimahi sebesar 73.692,7 m3/hari. Dengan demikian pendistribusian air oleh PDAM Tirta Raharja telah dilakukan secara berkesinambungan selama 24 jam/hari.;--In line with the increase of population growth in Cimahi city. The needs of clean water is liven up. The research of clean water needed and distriution of clean water by PDAM Tirta Raharja is required. The purpose of this research to understand the condition and services clean wate needs of customers PDAM Tirta Raharja by four aspect involves the use of clean water provides, costumers opinion of water physical quality, amount of water sufficiency, and sustainable water stream which achieve by customers home costumer connection. The method that used for data collection is descriptve survey. The sample use location sample of costumer distribution and PDAM Tirta Raharja clean water costumers in Cimahi. The technique analyze use is description analyze. Result of the research showed that PDAM Tirta Raharja has give 22.85% service region coverage in Cimahi and the condition and services based on water providing system has held through raw water taking at intake taking of water resource, production unit in water processing unit, distribution unit to home connection, and service unit for clean water costumers. Meanwhile, the water’s physical quality that go through by costumer has fulfill the standard of the applicable physical water qualification. While the amount average water usage of all customers in Cimahi during a month period are 21,694 m3/month and amount of water sufficiency population of Cimahi are 73.692,7 m3/day. Therefore, water distribution by PDAM Tirta Raharja has done sustainably for 24 hours/day.
