Abstract

Korea-Indonesia Cultural Corner atau disebut dengan Korean Corner adalah layanan yang merupakan hasil kerjasama antara pihak UPI dan Kedutaan Besar Korea. Korean Corner memiliki tujuan memberikan informasi mengenai kebudayaan Korea untuk sivitas akademika UPI dan juga sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Korea. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemanfaatan Korean Corner oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Korea UPI dan paparan penilaian dari pemanfaatan dan harapan terhadap layanan, fasilitas dan koleksi yang tersedia pada Korean Corner. Dalam penelitian ini, pemanfaatan layanan Korean Corner menjadi fokus utama peneliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Korean Corner oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Korea sudah baik dari segi pelayanan, koleksi dan juga fasilitasnya, akan tetapi terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu lebih diperbaiki dan perhatikan kembali oleh pihak perpustakaan seperti adanya pengelola khusus Korean Corner, pengadaan koleksi pembelajaran dan pemeliharaan fasilitas yang lebih baik lagi.;--Korea-Indonesia Cultural Corner or called Korean Corner is a service point that is the result of cooperation between UPI and the Embassy of Korea. Korean Corner aims to be the provider of information about Korean culture for the UPI Academic communities and also as one of the learning media of Korean language for education students. This research aims to determine the extent of the use of Korean Corner by the students of the Korean language education of UPI and the assessment of the utilization and expectation of the services, facilities and collections available in Korean Corner. In this study, Korean Corner's service utilization becames the main focus of researchersat large. The study used a qualitative approach with case study method. The data collection process was done by interview techniques, observations and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and with drawing of conclusions. The results showed that the utilization of Korean Corner by the Korean language education students were good in terms of service, collection and facilities, but there are some things that need to be fixed and reconsidered by the library such as the special manager of Korean Corner, a better collection of learning and maintenance facilities.
