Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi penilaian guru pamong terhadap kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL UPI Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro tahun 2016/2017 di SMKN 2 Cimahi dan SMKN 4 Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuisioner berskala Likert yang diolah dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan Mann-Whitney U Test. Menurut Koji Yatani dalam yatani.jp Discovering statistics using SPSS (2nd edition) U test dikenal juga sebagai Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test yang merupakan versi statistik nonparametrik dari T test. Berdasarkan nilai median (nilai tengah) dari hasil penilaian guru pamong, aspek kompetensi pedagogik rata-rata berada pada rentang 4 dan 5, hal tersebut menunjukkan kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik. Aspek kompetensi kepribadian rata-rata berada pada rentang 4, hal tersebut menunjukkan kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL dalam kategori baik. Aspek kompetensi profesional rata-rata berada pada rentang 4, hal tersebut menunjukkan kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL dalam kategori baik. Aspek kompetensi sosial rata-rata berada pada rentang 4 dan 5, hal tersebut menunjukkan kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL dalam kategori baik dan sangat baik. Persepsi guru pamong terhadap kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL program studi pendidikan teknik elektro UPI di SMKN 4 Bandung dan SMKN 2 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dilihat dari aspek kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi profesional, dan kompetensi sosial memiliki penilaian pesepsi yang baik.;--This research is conducted with the objective to ascertain on how the perception of tutoring lecturers toward the teaching competence of UPI students majoring in electrical engineering during their 2016/2017 on-the-job training (OJT) at SMKN 2 Cimahi and SMKN 4 Bandung. This research is classified as a descriptive quantitative research using the Likert scale questionnaires data collection technique, which processed using the Mann-Whitney U Test. According to Koji Yatani in his web article Discovering Statistics Using SPSS (2nd edition) at yatani.jp, U Test, also known as Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test, is a non-parametric statistical version of T Test. According to the median values acquired from the tutoring lecturers’ assessment results, the average pedagogical competence aspect situated between range of 4 and 5, which indicated the OJT students teaching competence is in good and very good category. Meanwhile the average personality competence aspect situated in range of 4, indicated the students teaching competence is in good category. The average professional competence aspect is situated in range of 4, indicated the students teaching competence is in good category. The average social competence aspect is situated in range of 4 and 5, indicated the students teaching competence is in good and very good category. The perception of tutoring lecturers toward the teaching competence of the 2016/2017 UPI electrical engineering students at SMKN 4 Bandung and SMKN 2 Cimahi are measured by indicators such as pedagogical, personality, professional & social competence are resulted in good perception assesment.
