Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu madrasah aliyah di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini mengambil sampel dari semua populasi dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan penyebaran angket. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan pada 23 Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan dengan 96 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan 1) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah terhadap mutu madrasah aliyah berada pada kategori kuat, 2) pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu madrasah aliyah berada pada kategori kuat, 3) pengaruh kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah dan kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu madrasah aliyah termasuk kategori kuat, selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah dan kinerja mengajar guru berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap mutu madrasah. Implikasi pada penelitian ini kemampuan manajerial kepala madrasah dan kinerja mengajar guru meningkatkan perannya dengan baik maka juga akan meningkatkan mutu madrasah. Rekomendasi pada penelitian ini yaitu guru dan kepala madrasah meningkatkan kemampuan kompetensi professional guna mendukung tercapainya mutu madrasah.;This study aims to analyze the influence of the managerial ability of madrasah principals and teacher’s performance on madrasah quality in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. This research method takes samples from all populations and uses questionnaires as a data collection tool. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires. The location of this study was conducted at 23 Aliyah Madrasas in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra with 96 respondents. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded 1) the influence of the managerial ability of the headmaster on the quality of the madrasahaliyah is in the strong category , 2) the effect of the teaching performance of teachers on the quality of the madrasa aliyah is in the strong category , 3) the influence of the managerial ability of the madrasa head and teacher teaching performance on the quality of the madrasa aliyah is included in the strong category , the rest is influenced by other factors. The results revealed that the managerial ability of the headmaster and teaching performance of teachers had a significant and positive effect on the quality of the madrasah. The implication of this research is that the managerial ability of the madrasah head and the teacher's teaching performance increase their role well, so it will also improve the quality of the madrasah. The recommendation in this study is that teachers and madrasa principals improve the ability of professional competencies to support the achievement of madrasa quality.
