Abstract

Praktek penerjemahan seringkali mengalami kendala dalam menghasilkan terjemahan yang mendekati pesan bahasa sumbernya. Hal ini terjadi karena pembelajar masih melakukan kesalahan-kesalahan dalam penerjemahan, salah satunya adalah kesalahan leksikal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan leksikal pada hasil terjemahan teks argumentatif berbahasa Indonesia yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Perancis oleh mahasiswa, serta mengetahui kesalahan leksikal yang paling sering muncul. Metode yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tinjauan dokumen yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori kesalahan leksikal. Berdasarkan analisis data yang berupa 87 teks argumentatif hasil terjemahan mahasiswa pendidikan Bahasa Perancis FPBS UPI semester VII yang mengampu mata kuliah traduction (penerjemahan), peneliti menemukan kesalahan leksikal dengan frekuensi kesalahan confusions of relations (kekaburan makna) sebanyak 88,3 % dan collocation errors (kesalahan kolokasi) sebanyak 11,7 %. Jenis kesalahan confusions of relations dibagi menjadi empat jenis kesalahan dengan persentase kemunculan kesalahan general term for specific one sebanyak 26,8 %, overly spesific term sebanyak 10,7 %, inappropriate co-hyponyms sebanyak 6,8 %, dan wrong near synonyms sebanyak 44%. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan pada jenis kekaburan makna, terutama kesalahan near synonym (makna dekat). Hal tersebut menyebabkan makna yang ingin disampaikan dari bahasa sumber berbeda dengan makna dalam bahasa sasaran. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya bidang keilmuan penerjemahan khususnya analisis kesalahan leksikal. Kata Kunci: Analisis kesalahan leksikal, penerjemahan, teks argumentatif, bahasa Perancis. ------- Practice of translation often experiences obstacles in producing translations that are close to the message of the source language. This occurs because learners still make errors in translation, one of which is lexical error. The objective of this study is to describe the types of lexical errors in the results of translation of Indonesian argumentative texts translated into French by students, and to find out the most frequent lexical errors. The method applied is qualitative descriptive method. Based on the analysis of data in form of 87 argumentative texts resulting from translation of FPBS UPI semester VII French language education students who take traduction (translation) course, the researcher finds lexical errors with 88,3% confusions of relations errors and 11,7% collocation errors. Confusions of relation errors are divided into four types of errors with the percentage of occurence of general term for specific one errors of 26,8%, overly specific term of 10,7%, inappropriate co-hyponyms of 6,8%, and wrong near synonyms of 44%. The results of this study show that the majority of students make errors on the type of blurred meaning, especially wrong near synonym. This causes the envoyed meaning from the source language becomes different from the meaning in the target language. The research is expected to be able to enrich the field of translation science, especially in lexical error analysis.
