Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan zaman berupa komunikasi menggunakan smartphone yang dapat menimbulkan perilaku cyberbullying. Perilaku cyberbullying perlu dihindari oleh siswa agar terhindar dari dampaknya. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku cyberbullying yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif dan desain penelitian survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara penyebaran angket tertutup dengan model Likert. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 300 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 5 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara umum bahwa setengah dari siswa pernah menampakkan perilaku cyberbullying. Artinya siswa pernah menunjukkan perilaku cyberbullying selama kurun waktu enam bulan terakhir. Untuk menghilangkan perilaku cyberbullying siswa maka diperlukan program bimbingan pribadi sosial untuk mereduksi perilaku cyberbullying pada siswa. Penelitian berhasil merumuskan program bimbingan pribadi sosial berdasarkan profil perilaku cyberbullying siswa yang telah teruji kelayakannya melalui judgement program oleh pakar praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Kata Kunci: Cyberbullying, Smartphone, Bimbingan Pribadi Sosial. ------- This reasearch is motivated by the technology development in this age, particularly in the term of communication on smartphone that triggered cyberbullying action. Cyberbullying needs to be avoided by students to make sure they are not impacted. This research aimed to understand about cyberbullying conducted by eighth grade students of SMPN 5 Bandung in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was designed in a quantitative approach by using survey methods. The data were collected by distributing closed questionnaire with a Likert model. This research was conducted on 300 students. The results showed that more than half students have shown cyberbullying action. Which means the students have ever shown the action of cyberbullying for the last 6 months. In regard to eliminate their behaviour and to prevent them from cyberbullying, it is necessary to hold a personal-social guidance program. This research succeeded in formulating a personal-social guidance program based on the students’ profile on cyberbullying which has been verified for feasibility by the experts and practitioners of guidance and counseling in judgement program.
