Abstract
Kompetensi membaca gambar teknik merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan paket keahlian teknik mesin sebagai bekal untuk masuk ke lapangan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan bidangnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media animasi proyeksi orthogonal pada mata pelajaran Gambar Teknik Mesin dan melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan diterapkannya media tersebut. Model pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Peningkatan hasil belajar dinyatakan dalam N-Gain, dianalisis berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, serta respon pengguna yang diperoleh melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar dengan diterapkannya media animasi proyeksi orthogonal berada pada kategori sedang, selain itu media animasi yang dikembangkan juga mendapat respon yang baik dari pengguna. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar; media animasi; proyeksi orthogonal; respon siswa -------- Competency in reading technical drawings is one of the abilities that must be possessed by Vocational High School students, mechanical engineering expertise as a provision to enter jobs in accordance with their fields. The purpose of this study was to produce orthogonal projection animation media on Mechanical Engineering Drawing subjects and see the improvement in student learning outcomes with the application of the media. The development model in this study is the ADDIE model. Improved learning outcomes are expressed in the N-Gain, analyzed based on the results of pre-test and post-test, as well as user responses obtained through a questionnaire. The results showed that the improvement of learning outcomes by applying orthogonal projection animation media was in the medium category, in addition to that the animation media also received a good response from users.
