Abstract

Tujuan dari pembuatan proyek akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui besaran defleksi pegas, perhitungan gaya pegas, aplikasi gaya pegas dan defleksi tanpa melibatkan tegangan pada suspensi depan kendaraan type TGN51 tahun 2011 Metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan besaran defleksi adalah dengan cara pengukuran panjang pegas dan beban massa pegas menggunakan mistar baja. Kemudian hasil pengukuran di hitung menggunakan rumus defleksi dan konstanta pegas, setelah dilakukan pengukuran dan perhitungan rumus yaitu pegas masih layak di gunakan. Hasil pengukuran didapatkan besaran defleksi pada beban 1000kg adalah 2,3 mm dan pada beban 2000kg defleksi nya yaitu 4,7 mm. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan rumus didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa pegas masih layak digunakan jika beban tidak melebihi 2000kg karena nilai keamanan pegas adalah tidak melebihi 4 mm.;The purpose of making this final project is to determine the amount of spring deflection, calculation of spring force, application of spring force and deflection without involving the voltage on the front suspension of the TGN51 type vehicle in 2011 The method used to obtain the amount of deflection is by measuring the length of the spring and the spring mass load using steel bar. Then the measurement results are calculated using the deflection formula and the spring constant, after the measurement and calculation of the formula that is spring is still feasible to use. The measurement results obtained deflection magnitude at a load of 1000kg is 2.3 mm and at a load of 2000kg the deflection is 4.7 mm. Based on the measurement results and calculation of the formula, it can be concluded that the spring is still suitable for use if the load does not exceed 2000kg because the spring safety value is not more than 4 mm.
