Abstract

ABSTRAK ”Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif Matematis Siswa SMP dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP)” Liza Wati (1507066). Pendidikan Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran connected mathematics project (CMP) dengan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran direct instruction serta tujuan lainnya yaitu untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan model connected mathematics project (CMP). Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen Research. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 15 Bandung, dengan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 32 orang diterapkan model pembelajaran connected mathematics project (CMP) dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 32 orang diterapkan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif, angket sikap siswa serta lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa: 1). Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran connected mathematics project (CMP) lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction; 2). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model connected mathematics project (CMP) sehingga kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa juga dapat meningkat. This study aims to determine the increase in mathematical reflective thinking skills between students who obtain learning connected mathematics projects (CMP) with students who obtain direct instruction learning models. Another goal is to fulfill students 'attitudes towards mathematics learning using the connected mathematics project (CMP) model. The research design used in this study was a quasi experimental research. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 15 Bandung, with a sample of 2 classes, 32 experimental classes applied to the connected mathematics project (CMP) learning model and 32 control classes applied to the direct instruction learning model. Data is collected by using reflective thinking ability tests, attitude questionnaires and observation sheets. Based on the results of data analysis obtained that: 1). Increased mathematical reflective thinking ability of students who use the connected mathematics project (CMP) learning model is significantly higher than students who use the direct instruction learning model; 2). Most students give a positive attitude towards learning mathematics by using a model connected mathematics project (CMP) so that students' mathematical reflective thinking skills can also be increased.
