Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan life and career siswa pada materi Plantae dengan menggunakan asesmen portofolio berbasis Edmodo. Keterampilan life and career dalam penelitian ini digambarkan melalui enam indikator yaitu (1) menetapkan dan memenuhi tujuan, (2) memprioritaskan, merencanakan dan mengelola pekerjaan untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan, (3) mengatur waktu dan proyek, (4) berpartisipasi aktif serta dapat diandalkan dan tepat waktu, (5) berkolaborasi dan bekerja sama secara efektif dengan tim, dan (6) bertanggung jawab atas hasil. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pre-test post-test dengan partisipan sebanyak 35 orang pada kelas X MIPA-2. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari soal pre-test dan post-test penguasaan konsep materi Plantae dan kuesioner keterampilan life and career, rangkaian task, self assessment, serta angket respon siswa. Penelitian diawali dengan pretest dan pre kuesioner serta pengenalan Edmodo, dilanjutkan dengan perlakuan terkait assessment for learning meliputi pemberian task oleh guru, pengumpulan task dan self assessment oleh siswa, feedback dari guru, dan revisi task oleh siswa. Penelitian diakhiri dengan posttest materi Plantae dan post kuesioner life and career. Asesmen portofolio berbasis Edmodo dapat meningkatkan keterampilan life and career siswa pada semua indikator yang diukur dengan kategori N-Gain sedang. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai mastery pada capaian task terakhir sebanyak 86% sedangkan pada post kuesioner mencapai 80% siswa. Pada penguasaan konsep diperoleh N-Gain sedang dengan capaian mastery sebesar 14%. Sebagian besar siswa memberikan respon baik terhadap manfaat penggunaan asesmen portofolio berbasis Edmodo. Meskipun demikian masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam akses internet dan penggunaan platform Edmodo. Kata Kunci: asesmen portofolio, self assessment, feedback, keterampilan life and career, Plantae, Edmodo. ------- This study aims to analyze the use of Edmodo-based portfolio assessment in improving life and career skills on plantae material. Life and career skills in this study are illustrated through six-indicators namely (1) setting and fulfilling goals, (2) prioritizing, planning and managing work to achieve desired results, (3) managing time and projects, (4) actively participating and being able to reliable and timely, (5) collaborating effectively with teams, and (6) being responsible for results. This study involved one group pre-test post-test design with 35 participants in Class X MIPA-2. The instruments consisted of pre-test and post-test mastery of the concept of Plantae material and life and career skills questionnaires, series of tasks, self assessment, and student questionnaire responses. The study began with a pre-test and pre-questionnaire and the introduction of Edmodo, followed by treatments related to assessment for learning including assignments by the teacher, task collection and self assessment by students, feedback by teacher, and revision of tasks by students. The study ended with the posttest Plantae material and post life and career questionnaires. Edmodo-based portfolio assessment could improve students’ life and career skills on all indicators measured in the moderate N-Gain category. The number of students who achieved mastery in the final task achievement was 86% while in the post-questionnaire it reached 80%. In mastering the concept, N-Gain was obtained with mastery achievement of 14%. Most students responded well to the benefits of using Edmodo-based portfolio assessment. Nevertheless there are still limitations in internet access and use of Edmodo platform. Keywords: assessment portfolio, self-assessment, feedback, life and career skills, Plantae, Edmodo.
