Abstract

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mebahasan sistem bahan bakar pada ENGINE 2TR-FE Toyota Fortuner, serta Mengetahui troubleshooting dari sistem bahan bakar pada ENGINE 2TR-FE Toyota Fortuner. Metode yang di gunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan oleh penulis. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan kondisi sistem bahan bakar dalam keadaan masih baik tetapi ada part yang perlu di perhatikan seperti filter bahan bakar yang sudah kotor bisa di ganti atau pun di bersihkan. Cara kerja sistem bahan bakar ENGINE 2TR-FE Toyota Fortuner yaitu bahan bakar dari tangki bahan bakar dipompa oleh pompa bahan bakar dengan tekanan tinggi untuk disalurkan ke saringan bahan bakar, kemudian disaring oleh saringan bahan bakar agar kotoran atau partikel-partikel asing yang ada pada bahan bakar tidak ikut terbawa yang nantinya akan masuk ke dalam injektor, kemudian disalurkan oleh pipa penyalur bahan bakar menuju injektor untuk disemprotkan ke masing-masing silinder dengan tekanan yang terlebih dulu akan diatur oleh pressure regulator dan juga pulsation damper, dengan jumlah bahan bakar yang disemprotkan telah diatur sebelumnya oleh Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Gangguan atau kerusakan yang sereing terjadi pada ENGINE 2TR-FE Toyota Fortuner diantaranya mesin mati setelah start, mesin susah start, putaran idle tidak stabil, tersendat waktu akselerasi, tidak ada tenaga, dan putaran naik turun. Gangguan-gangguan tersebut dapat diatasi/ditangani dengan memperbaiki komponen-komponen yang berhubungan dengan gangguan tersebut atau dengan cara menggantinya.;-- This final project aims to discuss the fuel system on the Toyota Fortuner ENTRINE 2TR-FE, as well as find out the troubleshooting of the fuel system on the Toyota Fortuner ENTRINE 2TR-FE. The method used is a test and documentation to obtain data needed by the author. The results obtained indicate the condition of the fuel system is still in good condition but there are parts that need to be considered such as a dirty fuel filter that can be replaced or even cleaned. How the Toyota Fortuner ENGINE 2TR-FE fuel system works, the fuel from the fuel tank is pumped by a high-pressure fuel pump to be distributed to the fuel filter, then filtered by the fuel filter so that dirt or foreign particles present in the material The fuel does not carry over, which will then be entered into the injector, then channeled by the fuel delivery pipe to the injector to be sprayed into each cylinder with a pressure that will be regulated first by the pressure regulator and pulsation damper, with the amount of fuel sprayed already pre-arranged by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Sereing disturbances or damage occurs in the Toyota Fortuner 2TR-FE ENGINE including the engine stalled after starting, the engine is hard to start, the idle rotation is unstable, stalled during acceleration, there is no power, and the up and down turns. These disturbances can be overcome / handled by repairing the components associated with the disorder or by replacing them.
