Abstract
Penelitan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya perilaku agresif yang dilakukan oleh remaja dilingkungan sekolah seperti mencaci maki, berkata kasar, mengejek, memfitnah, memukul, meninju, dan menendang. Perilaku agresif pada siswa berdampak pada terhambatnya perkembangan emosi dan perilaku sosial. Faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku agresif pada remaja, salah satunya adalah status sosial ekonomi keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan gambaran umum perilaku agresif dan memperoleh gambaran perbedaan perilaku agresif siswa berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode studi komparatif serta menggunakan desain penelitian survei yang melibatkan responden sebanyak 201 siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 10 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecenderungan umum perilaku agresif siswa berada pada kategori rendah, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata signifikan antara perilaku agresif siswa dengan status sosial ekonomi keluarga yang berasal dari status sosial ekonomi atas, menengah maupun bawah. Rekomendasi penelitian ini ditujukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dan penelitian selanjutnya. Kata kunci: perilaku agresif, status sosial ekonomi, remaja. ------- This study is motivated by some aggressive behaviors carried out by adolescents in the school environment such as abusing, speaking harshly, mocking, slandering, punching, and kicking. Aggressive behavior on students has an impact on inhibited emotional development and social behavior. It is caused by some factors, one of which is the socioeconomic status of the family. The purpose of this study is to describe the general description of aggressive behavior and obtain the differences in aggressive behavior of students based on the socioeconomic status of the family. This study used a quantitative approach, with a comparative study method and a survey study design involving 201 respondents of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 10 Bandung in Academic Year 2018/2019. The findings showed that the general tendency of students' aggressive behavior was in a low category, and there was no significant difference between the average aggressive behavior of students and the family's socioeconomic status originating from upper, middle and lower socioeconomic status. The recommendations of this study were shown to the teacher of guidance and counseling and further research. Keywords: aggressive behavior, socioeconomic status, adolescent.
