Abstract

Pelatihan kewirausahaan yang selama ini dilaksanakan masih bersifat konvensional dan belum aplikatif, sehingga peserta pelatihan mengalami kesulitan dalam mengimplementasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menghasilkan model pelatihan partisipatif yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha pengangguran perkotaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D). Subjek penelitian adalah pengangguran perkotaan di Kelurahan Beringin Raya, Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah pedoman observasi, wawancara, angket, studi dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data terdiri atas 3 tahap, yaitu 1) pendahuluan berupa proses analisis data bersifat interaktif (pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data); 2) pengembangan (uji kelayakan model oleh ahli dan praktisi), dan 3) ujicoba model terbatas dan ujicoba luas. Temuan penelitian ini 1) Pelatihan kewirausaha masih konvensional; 2) Model konseptual pelatihan partisipatif dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan pengalaman yang dimiliki peserta untuk mengkonstruk pengetahuan dan keterampilannya melalui penugasan pemecahan masalah menggunakan pendekatan andragogi; 3) Model pelatihan diterapkan dengan mengembangkan pembelajaran partisipatif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi; 4) Model pelatihan partisipatif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi berwirausaha pengangguran perkotaan.;-- Current entrepreneurship trainings are still conventional and not yet applicable, creating difficulties to training participants in implementing their knowledge and skills in their real life. This study is intended to produce a participatory training model in improving entrepreneurship competence of urban unemployment. This research applied the research and development (R&D) approach. The research subjects were urban unemployment in Beringin Raya, Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. The research sample was purposively selected. Research instruments employed were observation guidelines, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The data werw analyzed in three stages, namely 1) introduction including interactive data analysis process of data collection, reduction, presentation and verification); 2) development including model feasibility testing conducted by experts and practitioners, and 3) limited model trials and extensive trials. Findings of this study 1) Entrepreneurship trainings are still conventional; 2) The conceptual model of participatory training was developed by allowing the experience of the participants to construct their knowledge and skills by linking it to the assignment of problem solving with an andragogical approach; 3) The training model is implemented by developing participatory learning in improving entrepreneurial competencies covering the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating; 4) The participatory training model was proven effective in improving entrepreneurship competences of urban unemployment.
