Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengungkap dampak pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, olahraga, dan kesehatan terhadap hasil belajar penjasorkes yang terdiri dari kompetensi sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan, serta kebugaran jasmani. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMA di Bandung, dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI yang berasal dari 16 sekolah dengan jumlah 800 siswa, sampel dipisah menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok pertama yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik, kelompok kedua yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex- post facto. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui penilaian hasil belajar oleh pendidik, sedangkan data kebugaran jasmani diperoleh melalui tes kebugaran jasmani Indonesia. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Mann Whitney U Test untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kebugaran jasmani antara kelompok yang terlibat pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik dan konvensional. Hasil uji hipotesis penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) hasil belajar kompetensi sikap menghasilkan nilai Sig. 0,008 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak, (2) hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan menghasilkan nilai Sig. 0,039 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak, (3) hasil belajar kompetensi keterampilan menghasilkan nilai Sig. 0,161 > 0,05 maka Ho diterima, dan (4) kebugaran jasmani menghasilkan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak. Kesimpulan (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kompetensi sikap antara siswa yang terlibat pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik dan konvensional, (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan antara siswa yang terlibat pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik dan konvensional, (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kompetensi keterampilan antara siswa yang terlibat pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik dan konvensional, (4) terdapat perbedaan kebugaran jasmani antara siswa yang terlibat pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik dan konvensional.;--This study aims to analyze and reveal the impact of the scientific approach in learning physical education on the learning outcomes of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor competencies, as well as students' physical fitness. The population used in this study were high school students in Bandung, with a total sample of 800 students from 16 schools. The sample was divided into two groups, the first group that followed PE learning with a scientific approach, and the second group that followed PE learning with conventional approaches. The research method used is ex- post facto. Data on learning outcomes were obtained through assessment of learning outcomes by teachers, while physical fitness data was obtained through Indonesian physical fitness tests. Hypothesis testing used is Mann Whitney U Test to examine differences in learning outcomes of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor competencies, as well as physical fitness between groups involved in PE with scientific and conventional learning approaches. The results of the research hypothesis testing are as follows: (1) the learning outcomes of affective competencies obtain the value of Sig. 0.008 <0.05 then Ho is rejected, (2) learning outcomes of cognitive competence obtain the value of Sig. 0.039 <0.05, Ho is rejected, (3) learning outcomes of psychomotor competence obtain the value of Sig. 0.161> 0.05 then Ho is accepted, and (4) physical fitness obtain the value of Sig. 0,000 <0,05 so Ho is rejected. Conclusion (1) there are differences in PE learning outcomes of affective competencies between students involved in scientific and conventional learning approaches, (2) there are differences in PE learning outcomes of cognitive competence between students involved in scientific and conventional learning approaches, (3) there is no difference in PE learning outcomes of psychomotor competence between students involved in scientific and conventional learning approaches, (4) here are differences in physical fitness between students involved in scientific and conventional learning approaches.
