Abstract
KESADARAN SEJARAH MASYARAKAT DESA NANSEAN TIMUR MELALUI PEWARISAN NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL LOPO ATOIN METO Veronika Bernike Irene Saunoah Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Email : Vebbyveronica0@gmail.com ABSTRAK Kearifan lokal erat kaitannya dengan adat istiadat yang bernilai positif pada suatu daerah tertentu, salah satu diantaranya yaitu nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Lopo Atoin Meto pada masyarakat Desa Nansean Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan tentang kesadaran sejarah masyarakat Desa Nansean Timur melalui pewarisan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Lopo Atoin Meto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Nansean Timur Kecamatan Insana Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan etnografi. Teknik Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukan bahwa kearifan lokal Lopo Atoin Meto merupakan salah satu bentuk kesadaran sejarah di desa Nansean Timur. Masyarakat desa Nansean Timur masih memegang teguh adat dan tradisi secara turun temurun salah satunya yaitu melalui pewarisan kearifan lokal Lopo Atoin Meto, selain itu proses pewarisan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Lopo Atoin Meto untuk mengembangkan kesadaran sejarah pada masyarakat desa Nansean Timur sangat di taati salah satu bukti bahwa setiap rumah di tiga dusun selalu dilengkapi dengan yang namanya Lopo selain itu proses pembangunan dan perenovasian Lopo suku/klan juga selalu diikuti oleh semua masyarakat dengan penuh antusias meskipun dibebani dengan korban sesajian pada masing-masing anak cucu yang sudah berkeluarga. Semua prosesi diikuti dengan penuh khidmat, kondisi kesadaran sejarah di desa Nansean Timur masih sangat tinggi. Beberapa karakter kesadaran sejarah yang ditemukan antara lain adanya sikap menghargai masa lalu, kreatif, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab dan semangat kerja keras. This study aims to explain of the historical consciousness among East Nansean village community by inheriting the values of local wisdom Lopo Atoin Meto. This study was conducted in East Nansean village, Insana Regency, North Central Timor Sub Regency. This study used ethnography qualitative method. Data was obtained through technique and instrument in the form of observation study, documentation, and interview. Data analysis used some stages namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The study result in general showed that Lopo Atoin Meto is one form of historical consciousness in East Nansean Village. The community of East Nansean Village still hold firmly custom and tradition from generation to generation, and the values of local wisdom Lopo Atoin Meto, from the study result also known that the process of inheriting the values of local wisdom Lopo Atoin Meto to develop historical consciousness among East Nansean village community is very obeyed. One evidence is that each house in three villages always furnished with what is called as Lopo Atoin Meto building. With the evidence of Lopo Atoin Meto building then the process of inheriting those wisdom values is still implemented until now, in addition the development and renovation process of tribe/clan Lopo also always done by all people enthusiastically even though they must give offering which is burdened on each progenies who have married. All processions are followed respectfully, the condition of historical consciousness in East Nansean village is still very high. Some characters of historical consciousness found among others are the attitude to appreciate the past, creative, social care, responsible and has hard working spirit.
