Abstract

Pendidikan menengah kejuruan mengutamakan penyiapan siswa untuk memasuki lapangan kerja serta mengembangkan sikap profesional. Saat ini SMK merupakan penyumbang pengangguran tertinggi, hal ini terjadi karena adanya kesenjangan antara kompetensi yang diajarkan dengan yang dibutuhkan oleh di industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui KD dari Mata Pelajaran kurikulum program produktif Teknik Otomasi Industri yang diajarkan di SMKN 4 Bandung. (2) Untuk mengetahui kompetensi apa saja yang dibutuhkan dunia industri pada bidang Teknik Otomasi Industri. (3) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat relevansi kurikulum program produktif di SMKN 4 Bandung terhadap kebutuhan dunia industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Mix method dan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Mata Pelajaran produktif Teknik Otomasi Industri di SMKN 4 Bandung dan 19 responden dari 8 industri otomasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase menggunakan recall dan precision. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) KD pada kompetensi keahlian Teknik Otomasi Industri di SMKN 4 Bandung terdiri dari 170 KD dengan nilai relevansi yang paling tinggi terdapat pada Mata Pelajaran Produk Kreatif dan Kewirausahaan. (2) Kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh industri otomasi adalah 185 KD dengan nilai relevansi kompetensi yang paling rendah terdapat pada Mata Pelajaran Sistem Kontrol Terprogram. (3) Tingkat relevansi antara kurikulum 2013 revisi kompetensi keahlian TOI dengan kebutuhan industri Otomasi, termasuk dalam kategori sangat relevan dengan nilai persentase sebesar 91%. ------ Vocational secondary education prioritizes preparing students to enter the workforce and developing professional attitudes. Currently SMK is the highest contributor to unemployment, this is due to the gap between the competencies being taught and those needed by industry. This study aims to: (1) Know KD from Subject Curriculum productive programs in Industrial Automation Engineering taught at SMK 4 Bandung. (2) To find out what competencies are needed by the industrial world in the field of Industrial Automation Engineering. (3) To find out how much the relevance level of the curriculum of productive programs in SMKN 4 Bandung to the needs of the industrial world. This research is a quantitative study using a Mix method and a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were productive subject teachers of Industrial Automation Engineering at SMKN 4 Bandung and 19 respondents from 8 industrial automation. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive statistics with percentages using recall and precision. The results showed that: (1) KD in the competence of Industrial Automation Engineering expertise at SMK 4 Bandung consisted of 170 KD with the highest relevance value found in the Subjects of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship. (2) The competencies needed by the automation industry are 185 KD with the lowest value of competency relevance found in the Programmed Control System Subjects. (3) The level of relevance between the 2013 curriculum revision of TOI expertise competence with the needs of the Automation industry, included in the highly relevant category with a percentage value of 91%.
