Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasilbelajarsiswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar padamatapelajaranmatematika. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran siswa kurang terlibat aktif dan metode yang terapkan masih bersifat tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan peningkatanhasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions). Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa kelas IV di salah satu SDN di Kota Bandung Wetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK model Kemmis Mc Taggart dengan dua siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data antara lain dengan lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan soal tes. Data kualitatif dianalisis melalui reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis melalui penilaian soal evaluasi dan presentase ketercapaian hasil belajar.Berdasarkan pelaksanaan dua siklus penelitian, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar. Temuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD dari siklus I sebesar 63,6% meningkat menjadi 94%. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Kooperatif, STAD, Hasil Belajar. This Classroom Action Research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Grade IV Elementary School students in Mathematics Subject. This is because in learning students are less actively involved and the methods applied are still traditional. This study aims to describe how the planning, implementation and improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of Grade IV elementary school students by applying the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) cooperative learning model. Participants of this study were 33 fourth grade students in one of the elementary schools in Bandung Wetan. This study uses the CAR (Context -Action ,Result) method of Kemmis Mc Taggart's model with two cycles, each of which consists of four phases : planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques and instruments include observation sheets, field notes, and test questions. Qualitative data were analyzed through data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing while quantitative data were analyzed through evaluation of evaluation questions and the percentage of learning achievement. Based on the implementation of the two research cycles, there is an increase in student learning outcomes based on mastery learning. The findings from this class action research can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students from the first cycle by 63.6%, increasing to 94%.
