Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membandingkan instrumen tes diagnostik two-tier, three-tier dan four-tier multiple choices pada materi ikatan kimia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengungkap perbedaan miskonsepsi yang terungkap pada materi ikatan kimia dari instrumen tes diagnostik two-tier, three-tier, dan four-tier multiple choice pada sekolah berkategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat perbandingan jenis dan jumlah miskonsepsi yang terungkap dengan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik two-tier, three-tier, dan four-tier multiple choice di sekolah berkategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kausal komparatif. Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu, uji validitas judgement dengan nilai CVI 0,98, kemudian dilakukan uji coba terhadap 30 siswa SMA Islam Z dengan nilai reliabilitas cronbach alpha (α = 0,663) untuk jawaban, (α = 0,610) untuk alasan, (α = 0,693) untuk tingkat keyakinan jawaban, dan (α = 0,652) untuk tingkat keyakinan alasan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA A sebanyak 77 siswa sebagai sekolah berkategori tinggi, SMA B sebanyak 66 siswa sebagai sekolah berkategori sedang, dan SMA C sebanyak 65 siswa sebagai sekolah berkategori rendah. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan jenis dan jumlah miskonsepsi yang terungkap dengan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik two-tier, three-tier, dan four-tier multiple choice pada sekolah berkategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Jenis dan jumlah miskonsepsi terungkap paling banyak menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik two-tier multiple choices dengan topik ikatan ion dan kovalen di sekolah tinggi, sedang maupun rendah. The purpose of this study reveals differences in misconceptions revealed in chemical bonding topic in two-tier, three-tier and four-tier diagnostic test instruments in high, medium and low category schools. This research was conducted to look at the comparation types and number of misconceptions revealed by using a two-tier, three-tier and four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test in the high, medium and low category school. The research methode used is comparative causal. The research phase is conducted, namely the validity of judgement test with the value of CVI 0,98, then conducted a trial of 30 student Islamic high School with cronbach alpha reliability value (α = 0,663) for answers, (α = 0,610) for reason, (α = 0,693) for level confidence in answers, and (α = 0,652) for tlevel confidence in reason. This research is conducted in A Senior High School as many as 77 students as a high category school, B Senior High School as many as 66 student as a medium category school and C Senior High School as many as 65 student as a low category school. The result of this study showed that there were differences in the types and number of misconceptions revealed by using two-tier, three-tier, and four-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instruments in high, medium, and low category schools.
