Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi pembelajaran menulis yang masih rendah sehingga memerlukan perhatian dan inovasi, dan pemahaman prosedural yang sangat penting untuk siswa SMK dalam kegiatan praktek kerja industri (prakerin). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan desain The Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Adapun teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, penyebaran angket, observasi dan penilaian produk hasil proyek pembelajaran siswa. Eksperimen dilaksanakan terhadap siswa kelas XI TKJ (Teknik Komputer Jaringan) SMKN 1 Kerumutan Kecamatan Kerumutan Kabupaten Pelalawan Riau yang berjumlah 31 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI AK (Akuntansi) yang berjumlah 26 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dan pengumpulan data kemudian dianalisis, maka didapat nilai out put SPSS 23 dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) efektif untuk pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. Kata Kunci: menulis teks prosedur, model pembelajaran Projetc Based Learning (PjBL), This research is motivated by low learning condition of writing that require attention and innovation, and procedural understanding is very important for vocational students in industrial work practices (prakerin). The research method used in this research is Quasi Experiment with The Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, questionnaire dissemination, observation and assessment of product results of student learning projects. The experiment was conducted on the students of class XI TKJ (Computer Network Engineering) SMKN 1 Kerumutan Kerumutan District Pelalawan Regency, Riau, amounting to 31 people as the experimental class and the students of class XI AK (Accounting), amounting to 26 people as the control class. After doing research and data collection then analyzed, hence got value put out SPSS 23 with result of research show lesson using project based learning model (Project Based Learning) effective for learning write procedure text.
