    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat program konseling bagi keluarga Yang mempunyai anak tunagrahita ringan Melalui pendekatan cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) yang akan menjadi dampak berubahnya pemahaman keluarga (orangtrua) yang mempunyai anak tunagrahita ringan. metode penelitian ini mix method kualitatif-kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian single subject research menggunakan desain A-B-A yang pada pelaksanaanya dilakukan 14 sesi. Berdasarkan hasil dari pelaksanaan program konseling bagi keluarga Yang mempunyai anak tunagrahita ringan Melalui pendekatan cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) dapat memberikan pengaruh dalam merubah pemahaman orangtua yang diperlihatkan dengan meningkatnya mean level dari setiap fase baseline, intervensi, dan baseline-2. Kenaikan mean level dari baseline-1 sebesar 29,6% menjadi 94,4% pada baseline-2.

    Kata Kunci: Program Konseling, Pendekatan CBT, Bagi Keluarga.

    COUNSELING PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES
    WHO HAVE A CHILD WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY
    THROUGH THE COGNITIVE-BEHAVIOR THERAPY (CBT) APPROACH

    This research aims to create counseling program for families who have children with mild intellectual disability through cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) approaches that will affect family understanding (especially parents) who have children with mild intellectual disability. This research method is a qualitative-quantitative mix method, with a single subject research design using A-B-A design which has 14 sessions to be done. The results of implementation of the counseling program for families who have a child with intellectual disability through the cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) approach have an influential changes of parental understanding which is shown by the increased mean level on each phase of the baseline, interventions, and baseline-2. The increase in mean level from baseline-1 was 29.6% to 94.4% at baseline-2.
