Abstract
ABSTRAK Resi Yutika, 1500133. (2019). Kecenderungan Altruisme Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Berdasarkan Latar Belakang Pendidikan dan Jenis Kelamin (Studi Deskriptif Terhadap Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru Dalam Jabatan di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Gelombang II Tahun 2019) Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kompetensi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang belum mencerminkan adanya peningkatan ideal secara berkelanjutan yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling sebagai tenaga kerja profesional. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kinerja Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dilandasi dengan motif altruistik karena mempengaruhi kinerja dilapangan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 57 Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang mengikuti Program PPG-BK Dalam Jabatan di UPI Gelombang II 2019. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui instrumen yang dikembangkan berdasarkan teori Myers (2012). Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh secara tidak langsung melalui google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan Rasch pada aplikasi winstep. Hasil penelitian menujukkan kecenderungan altruisme Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling secara umum berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 91,2%. Altruisme Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling berlatar belakang pendidikan non BK lebih tinggi dari latar belakang pendidikan BK. Altruisme Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling wanita berada pada kategori tinggi dari altruisme Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling pria. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada Guru Bimbingan dan konseling dan peneliti selanjutnya. Altruism Tendency in Guidance and Counseling Teachers Based on Educational Background and Gender (Descriptive Research of The Guidance and Counseling Teachers On Teacher Professional Education Program at University of Indonesian Education 2019) The research is motivated by the problem of Guidance and Counseling Teacher competency that has not reflected the existence of an ideal sustainable improvement that should be owned by Guidance and Counseling Teachers as a professional workforce. This research is based on the importance of the performance of Guidance and Counseling Teachers based on altruistic motives because it affects performance in the field. The approach used is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The participants of this study were 57 Guidance and Counseling Teachers who participated in the Program in at UPI 2019. Data collection was obtained through instruments developed based on Myers's theory (2012). Data collection techniques are obtained indirectly through google form. Processing data using Rasch in the Winstep application. The results of the study show that the altruism tendency of Teacher Guidance and Counseling in general is in the high category with a percentage of 91.2%. Guidance and Counseling Teacher's Altruism with a non Guidance and Counseling education background is higher than the Guidance and Counseling’s educational background. Female Altruism Guidance and Counseling Teachers are high category than male altruism Guidance and Counseling Teachers. The findings of this study provide recommendations to the Guidance and Counseling Teachers and subsequent researchers. Keyword : Altruism, counselor performance, educational backgroud
