Abstract

Fenomena wanita bekerja membuat permintaan jasa perawatan anak terutama di Tempat Penitipan Anak (TPA) semakin meningkat. Melihat fenomena diatas membuat isu mengenai kompetensi pengasuh dianggap penting untuk dibahas. Hal ini dikarenakan pengasuh berperan menggantikan orangtua dalam proses pengasuhan. Kompetensi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan komitmen organisasi pengasuh dengan Kompetensi Mendukung Perkembangan Anak Usia Dini (KOMPA). Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada delapan TPA di Kota Bandung. Responden dari penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang pengasuh. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat tiga unsur komitmen organisasi yang secara parsial memiliki hubungan dengan KOMPA. Kategori hubungan yang diperoleh ketiga subvariabel tersebut adalah cukup kuat. Urutan subvariabel jika dilihat dari nilai koefisien determinasi tertinggi yaitu isu emosional dan kemampuan berpikir, pengalaman dan karakteristik biografis, serta keyakinan dan nilai pengasuh. Dua subvariabel lain seperti motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi ternyata tidak secara langsung memiliki hubungan dengan KOMPA, karena diindikasikan terdapat variabel penghubung. Adapun hubungan komitmen organisasi secara simultan dengan KOMPA termasuk kedalam kategori kuat.;-- The phenomenon of working women make a request child care services mainly at increasing Daycare.See the above phenomenon makes the issue concerning competence of assistan childcare is considered important to be discussed.This is because the assistan childcare role instead of those parents in the process of parenting. Competence is affected somethings, one of them is comittment organizational. This research aims to know the extent to which the to the relationship of assistan childcare’s commitment organizational with competence to support the develpoment of early childhood.The approach was conducted in this research is descriptive method and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at eight Daycare in Bandung. The respondents of the study amounted to 33 people. Results of this research show that there are only three elements of commitment organizational that partially has correlations with KOMPA. The third subvariabel is the category is enough strong.Order subvariabel of the highest determination coefficient values is emotional issues and thinking ability, experience and biographical characteristics, beliefs and values assistan childcare.Two other subvariabel such as motivation and work culture of the organization is apparently not directly have a relationship with KOMPA, since there are indicated the variable moderate. As for the correlations between comittment organizational to simultaneously with included into the category is strong.
