Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran citra diri perempuan perokok aktif di Kota Bandung yang dilihat berdasarkan kesan orang lain yang diterima perempuan perokok aktif terhadap penampilan diri, penilaian diri terhadap penampilannya sebagai perempuan perokok aktif dan perasaan diri sebagai perempuan perokok aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan teknik wawancara mendalam. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah tiga orang perempuan perokok aktif di kota Bandung berusia 18-22 tahun dengan dipilih secara purposive. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dua dari tiga subjek memiliki citra diri positif sebagai perempuan perokok aktif yang disebabkan oleh kesan positif yang diterima oleh perempuan perokok aktif, penerimaan orang lain terhadap perempuan perokok aktif dan perasaan positif sebagai perempuan perokok aktif. Sedangkan satu subjek memiliki citra diri negatif sebagai perempuan perokok aktif yang disebabkan oleh kesan negatif dari orang lain yang diterima perempuan perokok aktif, penolakan orang lain terhadap perempuan perokok aktif dan perasaan negatif sebagai perempuan perokok aktif. Kata kunci: citra diri, perempuan, perokok aktif This study focus to reveal the self-image of women active smokers in Bandung is seen by other people's impressions of women smokers who received active against personal appearance, self-assessment of the performance of active smokers as women and women's sense of themselves as active smokers. This study used a qualitative approach with design case studies and in-depth interview techniques. Subjects in the study were three women active smokers in Bandung aged 18-22 years with selected purposively. The results of this study are two of the three subjects had a positive self-image as a woman active smokers due to the positive impression received by women smokers, acceptance of others against women active smokers and positive feelings as a woman active smokers. While the subject has a negative self-image as a woman active smokers due to negative impressions of others who received women smokers, rejection of others against women active smokers and negative feelings as a woman active smokers.
