Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter menjadi unsur penting dalam proses pendidikan sejak dulu. Di tengah era kemajuan teknologi dan informasi memungkinkan pertukaran konsep nilai diantara manusia. Keberadaan pendidikan karakter menjadi semakin penting secara khusus dalam konteks anak remaja di tengah era ini. Model implementasi pendidikan karakter yang tepat dan berdampak efektif sangat dibutuhkan. Faktanya, program pendidikan karakter hanya sekedar ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap masalah implementasi pendidikan karakter di SMA, mendapatkan data, memperbaiki serta merekomendasikan model manajemen implementasi dan modul digital pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi kasus, wawancara, observasi lapangan, kajian dokumen dan studi literatur. Evaluasi dan koreksi rancangan melalui validasi pakar dan FGD. Hasil penelitian implementasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan berdasarkan deskripsi rasional kondisi empiris dan dasar hukum pendidikan nasional. Fakta di lokus penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program belum dilakukan dengan menggunakan model manajemen yang tepat dan efektif. Selain itu dalam implementasi selama ini belum optimal melibatkan pihak eksternal sekolah atau orang tua. Direkomendasikan kepada sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan program pendidikan karakter menggunakan model manajemen yang tepat dan modul digital sehingga program ini berdampak optimal pada transformasi karakter siswa. Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, model manajemen, implementasi, transformasi   ABSRACT Character education has become an important element in the education process. Globalization era with advances in technology and information allows the exchange of values concepts among humans. The existence of character education becomes increasingly important, especially in the context of adolescents in the midst of exchanging the values of life. Model management implementation of appropriate and effective character education is needed. In fact, the program for implementing character education is not effective. This study aims to uncover the problem of implementing character education in high school, obtain data, improve and recommend implementation management models and digital character education modules. This research uses research and development methods. The research approach uses a qualitative approach. The process of data collection is done by case studies, interviews, field observations, document studies and literature studies. Design evaluation and correction through expert validation and FGD. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education is based on a rational description of empirical conditions and the basis of national education law. Program implementation has not been carried out using the right and effective management model. Besides that, in the implementation so far has not been optimal in involving external parties of schools or parents. It is recommended that schools implement character education programs using appropriate management models and digital modules have an optimal impact on the transformation of student’s character.
