Abstract
Economic Dispatch (ED) menjadi masalah yang penting dalam sistem tenaga listrik dengan beban anomali karena pola beban yang cenderung berbeda-beda. Pada tulisan ini, ED digunakan dalam optimasi daya keluaran pembangkit termal dengan mempertimbangkan karakteritstiknya untuk mendapatkan biaya operasi yang ekonomis. Daya keluaran pembangkit digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan beban listrik anomali di Jawa-Bali. Metode hybrid Back Propagation (BP) - Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) akan meramalkan pola beban. Selanjutnya, proses optimasi dengan beban yang didapat menggunakan metode konvensional Iterasi Lambda. Peramalan beban menggunakan hybrid BP-PSO menghasilkan tingkat error yang kecil yaitu ≤ 3,92%. Hasil analisis karakteristik didapat bahwa PLTU berbahan bakar batu bara lebih ekonomis dibandingkan PLTGU berbahan bakar HSD maupun gas. Oleh karena itu, dalam proses optimasi dengan metode Iterasi Lambda PLTU cenderung memberikan daya keluaran yang lebih besar. Economic Dispatch (ED) is an important problem in electric power systems with anomalous load because load patterns tend to vary. In this paper, ED is used in optimizing the output power of the thermal generator by considering its characteristics to obtain economical operating costs. The output power of the generator is used to meet the needs of anomalous electrical loads in Java-Bali, Indonesia. Hybrid Back Propagation (BP) Method - Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) will predict load patterns. Furthermore, the optimization process with the load obtained using the conventional method of Lambda Iteration. Load forecasting using hybrid BP-PSO results in a small error rate of ≤ 3.92%. The results of the characteristics analysis show that coal-fired power plants are more economical than HSD and gas-fired power plants. Therefore, in the process of optimization with the Lambda Iteration method the steam-powered electric station tends to provide greater output power.
