Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan logis, serta habits of mind matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model ASSURE dengan metode problem based learning dan yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian berbentuk pretes-postes dengan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan logis, serta angket berbentuk skala likert untuk habits of mind matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model ASSURE dengan metode problem based learning lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KMA tinggi. Sedangkan, ditinjau berdasarkan KMA rendah dan sedang tidak lebih tinggi secara signifikan. (2) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir logis matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model ASSURE dengan metode problem based learning lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan KMA (rendah, sedang dan tinggi). (3) Habits of mind matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model ASSURE dengan metode problem based learning lebih baik secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. The purpose of the study is to analyze the enhancement of creative thinking and logical thinking ability, as well as mathematical habits of mind of junior high school students through ASSURE learning model with problem-based learning. The approach of this research is quantitative by using the quasi-experimental method. The research design is pretest-posttest with experiment class and control. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students in one of the junior high schools in Lembang. The research data was obtained using a test of creative and logical thinking skills, and questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale for students' mathematical habits of mind. The results of the study show that: (1) based on overall and high initial mathematical abilities, the enhancement mathematical creative thinking ability of students who obtain ASSURE learning model with problem-based learning is significantly higher than students who obtain conventional learning. Meanwhile, based on low and medium initial mathematical abilities not significantly higher. (2) Based on overall and the initial mathematical abilities (low, medium and high), the enhancement mathematical logical thinking ability of students who obtained ASSURE learning model with problem-based learning is significantly higher than students who obtain conventional learning. (3) Mathematical habits of mind students who obtained ASSURE learning model with problem-based learning are better than students who obtained conventional learning.
