Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada kelas III di salah satu SDN Kota Bandung. Hal ini disebabkan dalam pembelajaran siswa cenderung mendengarkan, dan menulis apa yang disampaikan oleh guru tanpa memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas mengadaptasi dari Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD yang berjumlah 18 siswa. Instrumen penelitiannya mengunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan penerapan model NHT dan lembar evaluasi untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Semua data yang diperoleh dianalis baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model NHT, 2) Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 68 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 50%. Meningkat pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 80 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar 89%. Dari pelaksanaan siklus I dan siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. The background of the research is the low learning outcomes of students in class III in one of the SDN in Bandung. The reason is, in learning students tend to listen, and write what is conveyed by the teacher without understanding the material before. This research aims to describe the implementation, and student learning outcomes by applied the cooperative learning NHT type. The method of this research is the classroom action research method, adapted from Kemmis and Mc Taggart. In this study carried out with two cycles. The participants of this study were grade III elementary school students, with 18 students. The research instrument used by the observation sheet to applied the cooperative learning model NHT type and evaluation sheet to find out student learning outcomes. All data obtained is analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study show 1) the implementation of learning using the cooperative learning model NHT type , 2) the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle the acquisition of the average grade value is 68 and the percentage of learning completeness is 50%. Increased in the second cycle the class average value is 80 and the percentage of learning completeness is 89%. From the implementation of the first cycle and the second cycle, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning type NHT, can improve student learning outcomes.
