Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai model pembinaan akhlak santri di pondok pesantren Darussalam Ciamis. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan mengingat bahwa pondok pesantren sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan memiliki peran yang penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian seseorang secara utuh yakni cerdas secara keilmuan baik ilmu agama maupun ilmu umum, cerdas secara emosional dan cerdas secara spiritual. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti akan mendeskripsikan bagaimana sistem pembinaan akhlak santri yang ada di pondok pesantren Darussalam Ciamis yakni perencanaan pembinaan akhlak, pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak dan hasil dari pembinaan akhlak. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskiptif, dan dalam pengumpulan datanya yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa pembinaan akhlak santri di pondok pesantren Darussalam Ciamis, bertujuan menjadikan santrinya sebagai seorang muslim yang moderat, mukmin yang demokrat dan muhsin yang diplomat dan pelaksanaan pembinaanya direalisasikan ke dalam bentuk kegiatan rutin dan insidental serta non kegiatan. Secara umum pembinaan akhlak tersebut melalui metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, pengarahan secara langsung, dan diberi hukuman atau sanksi.;-- This study discusses the moral character development in a boarding school called Islamic boarding school Darussalam Ciamis. This study was conducted due to the important role of Islamic boarding school as one of the educational institutions that builds one's personality as a whole to be intelligent in both scientific knowledge of religion and general knowledge, emotionally and spiritually. Through this study, the researcher will describe how morality systems of the students in Islamic boarding school Darussalam Ciamis, those are moral development planning, the implementation of moral development and the results of moral development. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method, and the data collection obtained from an observation, interview, and documentation study. Based on the results of the analysis, the researcher found that moral development of the students of Islamic boarding school Darussalam Ciamis aims to teach the students to be a moderate Muslim, democratic mukmin, and diplomatic muhsin and the development is realized in the form of routine and incidental activities and non-activity. In general, the moral development is conducted through exemplary methods, habituation, direct instructions, and given punishment or sanctions.
