Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik yang belum optimal dapat mengakibatkan agresif, senang berkhayal, sakit fisik serta mental, dan mengalami flight syndrome. Tujuan penelitian skripsi ini untuk memperoleh gambaran keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik jurusan pekerjaan sosial di SMKN 15 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dan Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengungkap data adalah angket keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik jurusan pekerjaan sosial tergolong cukup tinggi, begitu juga berdasarkan aspek-aspeknya, gender dan jenjang kelas. Dengan demikian layanan dasar untuk mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal dipandang tepat untuk diberikan sehingga siswa dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang dibutuhkan dan memfasilitasi pengembangan perilaku kearah yang lebih baik. Student with poor interpersonal communication skill can expose any symptoms of behavior disorder like aggressive behaviour, uncontrolled fantasy, flight syndrome, also physical or mental illness. This study aimed to describe interpersonal communication skill of student attended 10th, 11 th dan 12 th Grade in SMK Negeri 15 Bandung Vocational High School for 2012-2013 Academic. Descriptive research method with quantitative approach was used in this study. Data collected by using interpersonal communication skill questionnaire. Research result indicated that student’s interpersonal communication skill was included in quite high category, as well as showed by it’s aspect that is gender and grade level. Thus the guidance and counseling services in enhancing student’s interpersonal communication skill should be given to all student, so that they can obtain knowledge and develop desirable behaviors.
